William Gallas does not believe Michael Olise is going anywhere anytime soon.

The former France international was asked about the Bayern Munich star and the possibility of a future move, with some of Europe’s biggest clubs reportedly keeping an eye on his development. However, Gallas believes Olise is not the type of player who will simply chase the biggest contract available.

“Michael Olise won’t move. Do you think the boy is looking for the money, to be honest? When you look at him, do you think money is the most important? The most important thing is to ensure he feels good where he plays,” Gallas told iPredicta. So right now, I don’t think he’s ready to move to any club. I think we will have to wait to see him again in the Premier League, but he will come back. But now? I don’t think so.”

There is certainly an argument to be made that Olise appears to prioritize football above everything else. Since joining Bayern Munich, the French international has continued to develop into one of the most exciting players in European football, and he now appears to have found an environment where he can thrive.

The 24-year-old has become a central figure for Bayern Munich, with his creativity, technical ability and personality making him one of the club’s most important players. The question, then, is why would he leave?

Of course, football can change quickly. A massive offer from one of Europe’s biggest clubs could eventually test Bayern Munich’s resolve, while Olise’s ambitions could also evolve over time.

For now, though, Gallas believes the winger is exactly where he wants to be. And if Olise continues to feel comfortable in Munich while competing for the biggest trophies in the world, there may be very little reason for him to look elsewhere.
