Caitlin Clark got one over Paige Bueckers after the Indiana Fever beat the Dallas Wings on Friday night. Her fans on social media were quick to hype up the superstar.

Caitlin Clark put in a superstar display as the Indiana Fever beat the Dallas Wings 98-87 on Friday. The 24-year-old had 29 points and 10 assists in the game.

Ever since she got drafted, Paige Bueckers has been propped up as a potential rival for Clark to be considered the face of the WNBA in the future. So this was a statement victory for the Fever star.

Bueckers had 29 points herself, but it wasn’t enough to make the difference. And after the game, social media was abuzz with praise for the Iowa alum.

WNBA fans claim Caitlin Clark showed Paige Bueckers ‘levels’ in Fever-Wings clash​

Clark has an incredibly passionate fanbase, as one of the most popular athletes in the United States. This season, those fans are enjoying plenty of opportunities to crow.

The 3-time All-Star controlled the offensive side of the game from start to finish. It was an important win in the race for seeding ahead of the playoffs, too. Unsurprisingly, this earned her a lot of praise online.


“I love Paige too, but CC just showed here there are levels to this game,” one fan commented. “Yeah, I’ve seen enough. Caitlin is going to be the GOAT,” another added.

“CC deserves 10 more assists. She was just ridiculous,” a comment said. “CC has been on a tear and put on a clinic. Dallas had no chance,” a fourth fan wrote.

“Anyone can see Caitlin Clark has multiple MVPs written all over her,” claimed a different fan. “CC outplayed Paige and IMPOSED HER WILL on the Wings,” observed a sixth fan.

Clark’s historic night also included just one turnover, it was as complete a performance as could be. There is no denying that she deserves all the flowers after this dominant display.
