Barcelona players have been paying tribute to Robert Lewandowski after the striker confirmed he will be leaving the club this summer after his contract expires.
Lewandowski will depart after a successful four years at the club, winning three league titles, the Copa del Rey and landing a Pichichi award during his time at the Camp Nou.
The striker has led by example from the front and the reactions from his team-mates speaks volumes for how well he is regarded within the dressing room.
“The best brother ever!!! I love you,” wrote Gavi in response to Lewandowski post announcing his departure.
The midfielder then posted a longer response on his own page: “You arrived when we were going through one of our toughest moments, and with your goals and leadership we brought the club back to where it belongs, winning 3 La Liga titles in 4 years and competing for everything! For me, it has been an honour to play with you and defend you on the pitch! I’ll miss your goals, Roberto! I love you, brother.”

“What a pleasure Robert, Legend,” wrote Fermin Lopez, while Marcus Rashford added: “Legend! It’s been a pleasure to share the pitch with you. From the Nikey shoot to reality.”
Dani Olmo made it clear just how much he has loved playing with Lewandowski at Barca.
“An absolute LEGEND. It was a huge pleasure to share the dressing room with you and win all these titles together wearing our beloved colours. We Culers are gonna miss you a lot. Wishing you nothing but the best for the future, my friend.”

And Raphinha posted on social media: “Robertino. It has been a pleasure to have shared the locker room with you. Example.”
There were plenty more replies to Lewandowski’s post.
Ferran Torres replied simply “legend,” Jules Kounde wrote “1 of 1 !! All the best” and Wojciech Szczęsny said: “Legend, goat etc etc, but most of all let your neighbors know when the farewell party is!”
