LaMelo Ball has moved out of Charlotte to start a new chapter with the Minnesota Timberwolves, but a video of his former residence has left NBA fans in disbelief.
One of the most fitting adjectives which could be used to describe LaMelo Ball’s character is colourful. The star NBA point guard is the furthest thing from boring, which is evident in his game.
Things aren’t much different off the court, either. Ball’s hilariously casual demeanour in press conferences has been noticed, as have some of his legal issues.
As he prepares to leave the Charlotte Hornets, Melo is being sued by his former landlord. Amidst all this a video of his penthouse has gone viral, and fans haven’t been shy in commenting on his lifestyle.

Fans hilariously mocked LaMelo Ball on social media after seeing the inside of his Charlotte penthouse
Ball bought his apartment in Charlotte after initially renting it. The property was initially owned by former NFL star Cam Newton, but by the time Melo left, there was no doubting whose house it was.
One of the movers apparently shared a video of the interior. This includes things like, $10,000 in a frame, various alien-related art, and his colourful sneaker collection. Unsurprisingly, fans had a lot to say about it.
“This is exactly what I would expect LaMelo Ball’s home to look like,” one fan wrote. “This is what would happen if you gave a middle school kid hundreds of millions of dollars,” said another.
A third fan claimed, “This is exactly what I think the inside of his mind looks like.” Another added, “Will somebody please get him an interior designer?”
“I love him but this is one of the most hideous peeks behind the curtain I’ve ever been privy to,” wrote a fifth fan. “This is like if Morty from Rick and Morty became a basketball pro,” a fan joked.
Despite all the mockery going his way, LaMelo has shown in the past that he is not one to take what others say too seriously. And if he can hit the ground running in Minnesota, none of these jokes will matter.
