Sweden's Elvira Öberg beat her sister Hanna for victory in the first biathlon World Cup race after the Winter Olympics on Thursday in Finland.
Elvira Öberg shot clean in the 15 kilometres individual event in Kontiolahti to claim her second season win to go with the Oberhof sprint in January and a 12th overall.
Hanna Öberg could have taken victory but one missed target in the final shooting meant that she had to settle for second with a deficit of 41.3 seconds. Paulnia Batovski-Fialkova of Slovakia was third, another 3.7 seconds back, with one missed target.
"We have been on the podium a few times never been one and two before," Elvira Öberg told German broadcasters ZDF. "I wanted to win a little earlier. But better late than never. I like it here in Kontiolahti."

Overall World Cup leader Lou Jeanmonnot of France had to settle for 35th with four penalty laps but that was just enough to clinch the discipline title by two points ahead of Swede Anna Magnussen who placed sixth on the day.
The Kontiolahti events continue on Friday with the men's 20km.
