Real Madrid coach Álvaro Arbeloa was furious in his press conference after a 1-1 tie with Real Betis, explaining the run of dropped points by saying: “if we had a clear reason, we’d fix it. When results are so close, so tight, these kinds of situations can happen. And it’s clear we haven’t had much luck.”

Arbeloa on whether there was a foul before Betis’ goal​

“To me, it’s very clear. It doesn’t take much in situations like that, where you use your body, to lose your balance a little. But to see that, you have to understand a bit about soccer. And we have a problem because the people making the decisions don’t understand. A disappointment, like so many other times. A very clear penalty in the first half that could have sealed the game for us.”
