    I’d agree with this to a point. I’d say JB does deserve a bump but it seems he wants more than is reasonable. We know what we are and we need a top draft pick to try and get a top QB. So I’m not sure if it’s in our best interest to haggle over much pay raise.

    If there is a “Suck for Luck” year it’s this one for us. I’d trade him or cut him at this point. I understand giving a bump but being significantly apart? Not worth the hassle.

    It’s a team game nobody was winning games with that injured roster. He performed well for a back up QB. I agree it’s kinda a bad look to ask for more money after a bad year but he is the starter for now, he should get some sort of bump.

    Not sure I agree it should have been done already. But I’m glad they are doing the right thing and rewarding him for playing his ass off last year regardless of wins.

    You don’t draft a short QB to be a pocket passer. He was great with his legs and pretty good with his arm. Once he made the business decision not to run he was not a weapon anymore.
