    Not too late!

I was hoping the Suns would trade their own 2006 first round pick (looks like around 25 or 26) for Diener. Here's why The Suns have traded out of the first round in the last two drafts, there is a reason and it is based on first round contracts. No need to tie up a guy unless you can find a...

    Trade rumor Marion!

I agree. You have got to remember that Rex Chapman in now in Minnesota and might have made a phone call to BC and someone in the office drew a conclusion. Also a lot of inuendos go into the trading deadlines and some GM might mislead another GM for leverage.

Bryan Colangelo Looks to be Gone

Does anyone know if Toronto is offering any ownership stake for BC. In a statement that Sarver put out today is that he has offered Bryan an ownership share in the franchise. With the appreciation of the franchise that could be worth quite a bit in say a ten year period.

    Francis to NY

I don't think Francis and Marbury can co exist. There is still talk that the Nuggets and Knicks are talking primarily on a possible Crawford for Watson deal but that just is going muddy the water as well by adding Watson to Robinson, Marbury and Francis. One scenerio that I could see with the...

    Kelvin Cato

Hoopshype had it from Detroit paper yesterday. Also if the Magic are going acquire Arroyo that may make Diener even more expendable, could be worth trading our own 2006 late first rounder.

    Kelvin Cato

could be waived by Detroit if the Darko-Arroyo deal goes through. Likely would clear waivers with 8M contract and injuries. Could be a good defensive pick up for the playoffs if he is not claimed by anyone.

    Positions to draft

No offense taken but hopefully you will follow this logic. The Suns need a player like Nash to make Amare who he is. Marbury and Barbosa were similar type players for the system they had before Amare. Barbosa was being groomed for that offense and used Marbs as a tutor. Once Nash arrived...

    Positions to draft

Sergio Rodriguez Just went back to a draftexpress.com article and it stated that he may enter the 2006 draft, not sure if that is still the case. Now would be the perfect time to groom Nash's replacement. The Laker pick may not be high enough to get him but this would be the player to move...

    Elson

If we sent them Jim Jackson in return for Voshon Leonard and Francisco Elson it would eliminate the baggage that Vo has become for the Nuggets. He has only played in 12 games this year. If JJ wants off the bench for PT he proved valuable in the playoffs for us last year, he would contribute...

    Positions to draft

As it stands right now the Laker pick is at #21, exactly where we were last summer. We traded out of it last year we would probably do the same in the coming summer. A late 1st round pick ties you up for 3-4 years, no sense on doing that with a player that might not develope. I like the idea...

    Elson

Denver is not opposed to trading in the Western Conference. Made the deal with GS for Najera and also traded with Portland on draft day for Klieza. The Seattle deal would not change that trend. Kiki made the big deal with Dallas that included Van Exel and LaFrentz, sure it was for cap space...

    Elson

I disagree, the Sonics have got to develope Robert Swift and Johan Petro. Mikki Moore is also on the roster. Evans is more of a Karl and Kiki type player than Elson, see Eduardo Najera. The Nuggets have got to send a message that they will match any offer or keep teams from making offers on...

    Elson

Rumored deal Seattle and Denver Murray, Evans and Potapenko for Watson and Russell Denver has to make a roster spot to complete the deal, with Evans and Potapenko coming aboard Elson could be moved. Use 750K of our trade exception. If Denver will make a deal with a divisional...

Hunter traded for 2 2nd round picks.

It will be interesting to be see what the Nuggets do this summer, both Nene and Elson are FA. I would assume that if Nene is not traded Elson will be resigned. If Nene is still in their plans there is no reason to keep Elson around. In my opinion, if he could be had for the same salary as...

    Skita article on Realgm

They were trying to move up but the disinformation worked because Amare did fall. The Nuggets may have wanted to out smart their old coach by taking the player he may have wanted for his new team.

    Skita article on Realgm

It could have been offered by a third party, who knows if D'A had contact with the Nuggets after his departure but if someone on the Nuggets staff was getting the lowdown it may have affected their decision to draft Skita. The Nuggets could have had Nene and Amare and possibly Melo if their...

    Skita article on Realgm

I think he did send up some bluffs to the Nuggets in regards to Skita and it helped Amare fall into their hands. No better way to diss the team that fired you by getting Amare and Skita and put them into his system.

    Positions to draft

I still would like the Suns to make a run at Travis Diener. He is averaging only 14 minutes a game but is shooting 45% from the field, 46% from 3pt. I think there is an advantage to getting a guy who has some NBA playing time than bringing in a rookie. Take Barbosa for example, any type of...

    Suns trade

Nash could be the perfect player to bring something out of Skita. Who else knows how to make a 7'0 perimeter player productive. Dirk benefitted from having Nash around in his formative years, he could be able to give the players prospective versus the coaches perspective. I think both Nash...

Suns Sign Josh Davis to 10 Day Contract.

Back to Josh Davis This kid was a stud at Wyoming, great interior player but with a good shooting stroke. Very athletic but injured his knee in the WAC tournament his senior year if I remember correctly. Was playing very well for Philly last year started 5 games and scored a career high of 19...

    another attempt to get Diener

Jim Jackson Bryan Grant Pat Burke 2nd rounder or 2 for Travis Diener Tony Battie Dooling has been out and Diener still has only been in 3 games. Battie is in his last year of a contract as is Jackson, Grant (team option) and Burke (team option).
