    Now they are trying to trade 2015 1st round pick C/G/T Cameron Erving. Boy, I really liked him coming out. Has struggled at center, but I still think he could be a good center. At the very least he is a talented swing offensive lineman.

    I agree about Scooby and several of these PS players becoming active when the time is right. Cards did a good job of promoting from within the past couple of years. I wonder if Aaron Dobson is still PS eligible. I think he only has 2 years NFL roster experience.

    Yes. materphomeg, so much of a QB's success is tied to his HC and OC. Personality matters. For example, Adam Gase is about the best coach on the planet for Jay Cutler. Most head coaches would want nothing to do with Cutler...which is why he got zero nibbles in FA until Gase came calling.

My own feeling was...superb physical talent, but didn't handle the tough coaching or the ND pressure as well as one would have expected. Brian Kelly's coaching style is a lot like BA's.     I agree, karma. I kept Penny as a key blocker on punts and field goals. I would expect him to get much action at RB, except perhaps as a situational FB and short yardage back. Penny takes Stepfan Taylor's role, in essence.
