    QB watch

I'm not sure which of the three mentioned (Beck, Nussmeier, Allar) is best but all three were considered first round picks prior to last season. All 3 have had much more experience than Simpson. It makes sense IMO to take one to develop.

For Those Losing Their Minds Over the Love Pick...

I like the pick and being a long time season ticket holder it is nice to have a weapon like Love. Additionally lets wait to see the rest of the draft before we come to any conclusions..

    Jeremiyah Love No Matter What

You pick Love and get your RT on Round 2. We have the 2nd pick in Rd 2 so I'm sure there will be some good ones avaialbe. Take a qb on rd 3 to develop like Nussmeier, Allar or Beck. Being a long time season ticket holder I would like to have someone to get excited about and Love would be that...

    Jeremiyah Love No Matter What

You can easily build a case for or against the Cards drafting Love at #3. If the Cards really believe he is the BPA when they pick they should take him. IMO it is not that complicate of a decision.

    Be Like Denny?

I was living in Minnesota and a Viking fan when Denny was their Head Coach. He drafted Randy Moss with the 21st pick when every other team passed on him. In fact he purposely had the draft pick go up immediately for Moss when the Viking got on the clock to show how much he wanted and valued...

    Today’s Rumor (Apr 22)

Got this off the Great Blue North Draft Report: "At the same time, the concern about Miami OT Francis Mauigoa’s back hasn’t gone away. Mauigoa, a top 10 candidate, again if healthy, has a degenerative disc in his back that he was able to play through last year, albeit with some discomfort. But...

    Draft Contest/First Three Arizona Picks

    1. Bailey 2 OT 3. QB Note if Bailey is gone then I say it will be Reese.

    Today’s Rumor (Apr 21)

I don't think anything will happen until they are on the clock. I do think they will make a trade. Going to be a very interesting first round.

    Jeremiyah Love No Matter What

I agree with Harry that picking Love is a smoke screen to move down. I think they signed RB Algiers to be the lead back and they also resigned Connor. If they can't trade down they most likely will take either Reese or Bailey whichever one is available after the Jets pick.

...and with the third pick in the 2026 NFL Draft..

I think you will have give a little more than the 5th to move into the first round because of the value of the 5th year option on a first round player. Most likely it would be the 2nd and 4th. That may seem like too much but if the Cards believe in Simpson it would be worth it.

    Thinking Positive

I'm looking forward to the first three rounds of the draft especially with the Cards picking #3 in Rd 1, #2 in Rd2 and #1 in Rd 3. I think a lot of teams are gong to offer them multiple picks to trade up in any of these 3 rounds. It will be an exceeding draft to watch. They will get some solid...

    Today’s Rumor (Apr 20)

Cowboys trade could work out well for the Cards. They could get their RT and if they really like Simpson this would be better than picking him at #3.

    Today’s Rumor (Apr 19)

If they draft 2 qbs and he is a late 6th or 7th round pack that would be fine but still makes no sense. Washington did that in 2012 with Robert Griffin ( first round) and Kirk Cousins ( fourth round).

I'm on board with Reese at 3

You should get an impact player with the #3rd pick. Also drafting quality players that actually perform well especially those from the first three rounds. You won't really know this for a couple of years.

James Conner To Announce Second-Day Cardinals Draft Picks

Nice honor for Connor. Nothing else to read into this.

I'm on board with Reese at 3

Good stuff Cbus. I know that you are an OSU fan but you have been objective on their skills. Reese is high on everyone's draft boards as most can see the potential. I have come around to feeling much better on him being the Cards pick along with Bailey. I can also see why teams will trade up for...

    Today’s Rumor (Apr 15)

Maybe but the top five payers are definitely considered blue chip that is why their value should be high for any trade up.

    NFL trade value chart Cards #3 - 2220 - value ----------------- Cowboys - value #12 - 1200 #20 - 850 Total 2050 Short 150 Bottom line Cowboys should throw in another pick. Their 3rd rounder is worth 132 points

    Considering Drafting an OT?

Could happen but 1 or 2 might be there and we have the 2nd pick in round 2.

    Considering Drafting an OT?

Good stuff, thanks Harry. Several of these could be there on round 2. The Cards could get a top edge rusher on Rd 1 and RT on Rd 2.

    Today’s Rumor (Apr 15)

Jets have 10 picks in the years draft, 2 in each the first 3 rounds. They need players not more picks. They can get a premier defensive player at #2. Dumb for them to trade down as they traded all their top defensive players for picks.

QB Simpson this year OR wait for next year's class?

What is amazing is that Wolf keep drafting these QBs when Farve was the starter and ended up trading many of them for some good draft picks. He also signed Kurt Warner as a free agent.

QB Simpson this year OR wait for next year's class?

I would not use the #3 pick on Simpson but draft him later. If the Cards don't draft Simpson I would still like to see them draft a qb perhaps Nussmeier, Beck or Allar in the 3rd or 4th round. One of these could develop into a decent qb. Packer Hall of Fame GM Ron Wolf believed in drafting a qb...

Rumor of the Day (Apr 12)

Interesting but in a way not surprising as a lot of football analysts are predicting that the 2027 draft will have many better players than this 2026 draft class.
