    2026 off season

They're listing 2nd rounders that didn't see much playing time also. At least on a 1st round deal he's guaranteed salary for 2 years.

We no longer have the 2029 or 2033 2nd rounders, traded for Peat.

News from around the NBA 2025-2026

I can understand the tax perspective and give him some slack but he's notoriously cheap as he tried offering a college coach less he was making coaching college and finally signed an assistant as their head coach on a 1 year deal, all after Splitter overachieved and wasn't asking for a crazy...

2026 NBA Free Agency and Trades

What is Minnesota doing? Taking the ball out of Ant's hands isn't a great decision and losing Naz Reid after giving away Randle makes you wonder how they'll fill their frontcourt. They seemed all in on making Naz a starter and that was part of getting rid of Randle.

    2026 NBA Draft Thread

I'm shocked he fell that far. I like the Frye comparison also. He won't be a world beater but he looks like he'll be no less than a decent backup for the next 5-10 years.

2026 NBA Free Agency and Trades

Hornets are a minor league team masquerading as more. They accumulate youngsters and build a young core that seems primed to turn the corner and start making the playoffs before they decide to rip it all apart and start from scratch. They did that not long before getting Lamelo. Such a weird...

Sounds like we got our G-League PG to help our bigger guys develop.

    2026 NBA Draft Thread

Adding a round that is for the G-League would do it. I think they need to adjust the cba before making any changes because so many teams are giving picks away now because of tax penalties so it'd be hard to extend the draft when only a fraction of the teams seem to have interest beyond pick 35...

Ryan Dunn - the Real Deal or Beginner's Luck?

I think the way Ish spoke of Dillon during the end of the season press conference, he's right behind Booker in least tradable guys. His attitude and work ethic is more important than his on court contributions. If we were trading him, something would have leaked already.

    2026 off season

Not for us but that's basically what the Knicks, Spurs, and OKC all run. They all have better 5's than us, which makes a big difference. They also have guys who can come in and help their C in various fashions.

Suns Draft Koa Peat at #30 in 2026 NBA Draft

Here's info on the additional traded picks. Look like 29 and 33.

Ryan Dunn - the Real Deal or Beginner's Luck?

Dunn is way too tentative and seems trapped in his head a lot. He looked like a good late 1st in his rookie year but last year he looked indecisive and next year is a big question mark. I'm not sold on Peat but I like his potential more than Dunn at this point. The experiment of sliding Dunn...

They should have gone with Veesaar from NC instead. Koa makes Dunn more expendable but that's about it.

Ryan Dunn - the Real Deal or Beginner's Luck?

If we can somehow get a 1st for Dunn then we should. We could use more a PF/C than him. I'm high on Fleming but don't see him as a small ball 5 for a while so bringing in someone to fit that role more would be for the best. I'm not sold on Dunn and would rather take a shot at someone from this...

2026 NBA Free Agency and Trades

Riley has tried to add a star ever since the Heatles broke up. The Heat are always mentioned as a destination for any star because of that. Of course it didn't help them but it was a matter of a time before they finally brought someone in, sort of like they last acquired Jimmy Butler. Gambo is...

2026 NBA Free Agency and Trades

Apparently Herro grew up in Milwaukee so I can see that helping increase his value to the Bucks. Gives them a home town favorite as they look to rebuild. The Bucks also got more draft capital from Miami. It's still frustrating to see from the outside as the Suns really did make the worst haul...

    The Collin Gillespie Bandwagon Thread

June 25, 1999 is his DOB. So he's not quite there yet but he will be when the ink dries. Sort of changes the perception. I thought he was 24 or 25 at most.

    The Collin Gillespie Bandwagon Thread

It may be fair but I also thought Royce and Grayson signed fair deals. What is fair today is overpriced tomorrow. I hope it doesn't come to that. I'd feel better if Collin was younger. Knowing he'll be on the other side of 30 for the final year is slightly troubling.

Really wish there were an option year or some unguaranteed money since Collin is already 27. I can see this deal being a negative in year 4 as is.

    Suns 2025-2026 Season Discussion

ESPN 's trade machine accounts for games played and missed. Giannis missing so much time gave Book the edge. I learned that a few years back making a trade for someone who hadn't really played on our team and someone who didn't miss games coming in. We lost more talent but it only measured that...

2026 NBA Finals Knicks vs Spurs

I meant the value of the picks went up because we sucked and made a number of mistakes once we acquired KD. I think we were in similar spots. Though to judge given the East vs West differences. I agree. There's so many variables it's difficult to judge. Mikal winning hurts considering how...

    2026 off season

They won't announce anything until free agency opens. They'd be fools to accept deals before they can gauge their offers on the open market.
