His film is some of the best of an LB in this draft, he has a nose for the ball like no other but the big knock on him is of the field. Rumor has it TCU couldn't wait to see him go.
At the combine he ran a 4.95 40 yard dash, only 28 inches on the vert and 109 on the long jump. He was at the...
In my opinion, these are the top 23 in this draft, below that are the "wild cards" that at least a few of will likely make their way into the top 23 picks in the draft, therefore pushing some of the top 23 down to us. A lot of solid names on this list.
QB
Winston
Mariotta
RB
Gordon
Gurley...
Gregory is this years biggest draft bust if you ask me. He just doesn't have the bulk and doesn't seem to have the ability to put on size. There are always those Shawn Bradley types that no matter how many calories they pour in just can't add size.
LOL, so you took the comment of "we need to upgrade the interior OL" as Sendlein, Larsen and Fanaika are great, but that damn Coop guy who doubled (yes, doubled, check the stats) our rushing Y/G whenever he started, he's gotta go.
And what about the Raiders letting Veldheer walk last year? He's no good either right?
Also note that much like Veldheer, Wisneiwski's camp is saying they're not entertaining the Raiders offers. He wants out.
BASK have come out several times when asked what they want to do in free agency and said they want to upgrade the interior OL. There are only 3 positions in the interior O-line and I'm assuming they're not talking about Cooper at LG. It's safe to say we're going into 2015 with Coop as our...
Raiders & Stefen Wisniewski - See jared veldheer
Chiefs & Rodney Hudson - See Justin Houston
The Cowgirls will likley have to let either Dez or Murray walk and the Broncos will likely have to let one of the Thomas' walk. Do you think that means those teams don't think those players are any good.

Or an average of 3M for Stefen Wisniewski??
Save 1M and upgrade at a key position???
From the Kansascity.com website...
2. C Rodney Hudson: The fourth-year pro had his best season in a contract year, but he still has room to improve. Hudson isn’t dominant at the point of attack, and he, quarterback Alex Smith and offensive-line coach Andy Heck all have to accept some...
Because he's a weak link on the O-line and he's grossly overpaid. I don't think the question so much is the money, but the upgrade.
Also, to answer your question about "Are you going to find another starting-caliber center for less than the $4M that he's scheduled to make this year?"...
From what I can see from online cap calculators, the cuts below take us from 10M+ over the cap to 2.5M under. This is without doing anything with Fitz or Dockett. If we could restructure Fitz's contract down to a 10M hit that saves an additional 14M and if we can restructure Dockett down to 5M...
One of these. My guess is Irwin

I saw #22 earlier today, but now that the lions have lost, do they move in front of us to 22 and we slide back to 23, and where does the Bengals loss land them?
I like the Bush signing, we cut Kerwynn Williams to make that move. I see that as an improvement to the roster. I would also see Shaun Phillips as an improvement over Matthew Mulligan
You don't think a player that had 10 sacks a year ago is better than the 53rd man on our roster?
Would you take Shaun Phillips or
Matthew Mulligan (who?)
Kerwynn Williams (who?)
Phillips as a situational pass rusher seems to me like it would be an upgrade
