    That’s a different Jacob Gonzalez. I like that Troy should be ready pretty quickly. The lineup in three years could be really strong and young .

    I feel all three of these guys will come in under slot(Groover and Grice may be close to 250k-500k) hopefully they are targeting a pitcher like Sykora in the 3rd.

    Possible Trade Targets

    I am starting to be of the opinion that the DBacks need to add only if they can get a Zac Gallen for Chisolm type deal. Maybe a fringe relic guy for a low level prospect but I wouldn’t trade away any of our best prospects for a one year or even 1.5 year guy. It’s probably an unpopular opinion...

    Is there a way to sign a minimizing deal to extend him at the max next offseason? NBA salary rules are a bit confusing on some of these things. I just remember Colangelo did some lower deals in the past with a handshake agreement to take care of the player later. Maybe I’m remembering wrong.

    I may be alone in this but I’d love to see Pfaddt and Walston brought up for the next few weeks. Davies has to go and it would open a spot on the 40 man for Walston. Is it more likely they will probably have Jameson fill in?

    Looks like he’s going to the 15 day for a calf strain. When I first saw it I was freaking out about it being an arm issue. I guess that explains his most recent performance.

    They have to replace Davies ASAP. I can’t believe they continue running him out there. I’d rather see Pfadt or Walston at this point.

    Vukovich is really coming on strong. If he can cut down on the strikeouts I think we have a good one there. With guys like him coming along nicely it makes me feel better letting go of a couple of other prospects if we trade for good starting pitcher with control.
