Nobody’s knows but it’s fun to speculate. (Phoenix Suns Rumors). 2026

Well, we'll see next season. If Ott is still "bringing them along slowly" and continually playing undersized lineups, I'm voting for him being "too dumb."

That's what I'm waiting for. The most Suns graphic ever.

He has NBA level defense, rebounding, and shooting ability. If you want "elite" skills, you are talking about only the highest level lottery guys, anyway.

They really liked Lendeborg in last year's draft, too, until he dropped out. They were likely going to trade up into the late first to get him then. He would be a good pick, although I'm not sure how high they will have to move up. He has been slotted at anywhere from #10 to the late lottery...

    2026 off season

I'm not disagreeing. But the perennial injury issues are pretty much established as a given and not a fluke at this point. Add the fact that he would (hopefully) eventually inevitably be losing his starting role to Maluach, and it's not really reasonable for the Suns to sink much of the cap into...

Arizona State baseball icon Bob Horner passes away at 68. He had arguably the all-time greatest college baseball career while at ASU. RIP, Bob. https://apnews.com/article/atlanta-braves-bob-horner-896dc440e36f44fda4fabb306ef3b57b

Will the Suns win more games this year than last? (2026-27 edition)

As is, very much likely not. I guess there's always the unlikely possibility that Maluach and Fleming come firing out of the gate next year as vastly improved starter material, but realistically I expect Ott will still be overly cautious at implementing them into the lineup no matter what. I...

    2026 off season

I'm guessing the best possible resolution will be to resign Williams and then trade him. He could bring back some draft capital, or help the Suns move up this year. It would also free them from having to worry about his health next year and every other year going forward.

Miller looks like he has some promise but his combine performance has probably raised his stock. Suns might have to move up to have a shot at him now.

To be honest, at this point, trading Dunn straight up for Rissacher is probably fair. He has developed about as well as Dunn, so far. Maybe a change of scenery would help both, but they are both bordering on being labeled busts.

Suns acquire Nick Richards from Charlotte for Okogie & three 2nd rd picks

I realize the Suns are sort of leveraged into a position where they have to at least consider the BPA approach and hope they get lucky. But there does also seem to be the possibility of a "we don't care about fixing our size issue" approach in what they've been doing this off season, at least...

Someone remind me - do the Suns have their own first rounder in 2027 or is it one of those that's swapped to the lowest of xxx?

Regardless, even if he is all that, he is also a luxury the Suns can't use with their current roster needs. He isn't getting time with Booker, Green, Allen, Goodwin, and possibly a few other current players overlapping him. Unless the Suns really are committed to having a team made up of ten...

Well, we really need to move up to get yet ANOTHER 6-5 SG. So genius, Suns. He's the son of former Sun Chris Carr, by the way.

I agree. The Suns cannot afford to waste any more resources on wings or guards, unless they are going to ship off about a third of the current roster for bigs.

He's definitely the real deal. But I still have a hard time believing he's going to hold up long term. There's just too much history that says it's unlikely.

Nobody’s knows but it’s fun to speculate. (Phoenix Suns Rumors). 2026

While I don't put much stock in it as a rumor, they wouldn't get anything out of it if they waived him instead of trade him, plus they are still on the hook for his salary cap hit. If they could package him with a pick to some team that thinks he might still have value for any decent assets...

Saw a rumor that the Grizzlies might be willing to throw in the third pick to get rid of Morant. I don't know if there's anything to that other than random rumor mongering, but would that change anyone's opinion about a Morant trade?

Big time... Jones was actually pretty egregious at it. He was the perfect example of a front office guy who locked on to big names and believed that the rest of the roster was irrelevant. That always ends in disaster.
