    The only problem is that there are only 3 blue chip players in this draft. Mendoza, Love, and Downs. Mendoza we have no chance at, and the other two are at non premium positions. Even as one of the first 'Draft Love' guys, I at least see why people aren't crazy about the idea.

    I dunno. I see it completely differently. I think the Cards might have gone to him and asked him to take a pay cut or he was going to get cut. He obliged. Even the article you posted seems to support that idea.
