There's a lot of speculation, part of it by Gambo, the Suns aren't done making moves. Supposedly we need a shooter. Gambo is also saying they have 3-4 years of first round picks now. The thinking is they can use those to help trade for another player.

that's what i was saying earlier - the free agent list is a joke and ish now has first rounds to trade but i think he only has around 6 million to offer? someone else would probably have to go

I am guessing that's what they have to be under the second apron?

From Kellen Olsen on AZsports.com:

The trade moved out about $29 million in salaries this year and $31 million next on Allen and O’Neale’s combined deals for Bridges’ $22.8 million expiring deal this season. It moves them from too close the $222 million second apron, where they would have been hard-capped, to now hovering around the $209 million first apron.

Until February, the Suns can extend Bridges for three years and up to $86 million, according to ESPN’s Bobby Marks.

But in layman’s terms, looking at this season alone, the deal now gives them $20 million in tax savings, another roster spot and more cap space to use the full taxpayer mid-level exception, a $6 million salary.

Everyone is saying Sekston (work), so it won't happen. Even though I, this forum, and suns media wants him.

I like DeAnthony Melton. If we have to add another guard. Sexton would be ok too. The Suns have had interest in Kennard in the past, but he adds nothing except shooting.

Yep. Melton is the choice. Very good defender and distributor. Career 36% three point shooter but has had some years at 40%. He the guy we should get.

Lots of smoke about Luke Kennard coming to the Suns.

Don't we have Goody?

We should go after another high % three point shooter as we do not have one.

Kennard would be a good get, but if they don't move Green for a legit playmaker this team still looks like a first round sweep at best.

From my perspective, the Suns deplorable defense was the primary contributor to their poor showing the past few months of the season.

Fixing the paint was a priority. I'm not sure if they have done this.

You have Oso and Maluach. Would you want a defensive PF? If so, who would fill that bill? To me, our best option is already on our roster--Fleming.

I am OK with that. He is just such a defensive liability. But he is a lifetime 44% three point shooter.

I've made my choice clear to the point of redundancy. I'd want a player that could rotate between the 4/5. (Previous Achiuwa)
