Agree, but do not underestimate Ghana. They are good. Up and coming. Bunch of young players, playing for good teams because of the Right to Dream foundation and the group of clubs involved in that (San Diego FC in MLS).Only watched the extended highlights, but look how organized and disciplined they play compared to some other African teams. All because they have been European coached since they were young through the Right to Dream academies.

Could be 3rd best team from Africa after Marocco and Senegal. Not all the way good, but possible quarterfinal good.

Absolutely. I’ve been a little disappointed in Senegal but they have dealt with a tough group. I think Ghana are well respected now. But I know that England expected to win that game.

Obviously... England is the 1st tier ranked team in the group. Ghana is the 3rd tier team. England has to win that, but my point is that Ghana is realistically a low tier 2 team rather than the low tier 3 team as they were ranked when the groups were created.

Going to be interesting to see Ghana vs. Croatia. Ghana holds the tie-breaker now.
