We're not going anywhere so might as well ride out Allen and Royce if they are not part of a bigger trade. Giving up assets to move them does not make sense to me, but I don't have the full picture. I think the new GM showed promise. Will be an interesting off season.

I liked that DTV took more responsibility on offense. It was needed with our injuries but we also need more offensive help when defenses are focusing on Booker. In those cases we need fast ball movement where for instance Brooks can get a one on one in his favorite spot.

What other option do we have at this point? Would you rather overpay Jordan Goodwin or overpay someone that is at a Haywood Highsmith level? I know what I'd pick.
Book for Greek Freak works, somehow makes the Bucks better ?

ESPN 's trade machine accounts for games played and missed. Giannis missing so much time gave Book the edge.

I learned that a few years back making a trade for someone who hadn't really played on our team and someone who didn't miss games coming in. We lost more talent but it only measured that season. You can't trust their estimated improvements.

Somehow it doesn't, that's why the Bucks would never consider that swap.
They would never consider that swap but Giannis missed most of the season so that's probably why this looks like a reasonable trade on paper.

We have the option of not doubling down on a play-in team and rebuilding like the Bucks or Hawks did in trading their “untouchable” star player.

Sadly we are too strong-headed to do that despite the fact that we are nowhere near even competing with the middle playoff teams in the West, much less the Spurs or OKC who are going to run roughshod over the West for a while. But that IS an option.

Yeah, except that's not going to happen.

We can come up with dozens of ways to "improve" the team, but knowing Ishbia, there are only a handful of options he would even consider.

I swear we had a thread that just tracked our picks we have (don't have). I'm curious now that we lost two more second rounders.

I am fine with not doing too much. It will be much easier to break this team than fix it at this moment.

Probably deleted for triggering feelings of despair....

I'd really like to see what this ownership group could do with a couple lotto picks. They seem to do a good job with the picks they've had.
