It's all rumor and speculation stuff but fun to think about.

The Suns would get former #1 overall pick, Zaccharie Risacher in a trade with Hawks.

noway, he is worth that much, he seems a failure after 2 seasons NBA.

The Suns would get #23 from the Hawks in this hypothetical trade, a role playing power forward (expiring contract) and Risacher, a small forward who has tremendous upside.

In one game against Phoenix, Risacher looked fantastic.

It's worth thinking about as Mark Williams could walk for nothing.

To be honest, at this point, trading Dunn straight up for Rissacher is probably fair. He has developed about as well as Dunn, so far. Maybe a change of scenery would help both, but they are both bordering on being labeled busts.

Risacher is a bust, pass. The pick is the best part of that deal and not all that good. I'd rather find a different package altogether.

I wouldn’t say Dunn is a bust for where he was drafted. He is what he is at that draft spot. Hopefully it was a sophomore slump and adjusting to having actual centers this year.

100% hoping it's a sophomore slump. Plus, you never know how this coach is using him versus the other coach. He looks like he's thinking too hard, and just not playing on instinct like he did his first year. Coaching could have gotten in his head too much. I think compared to what we have seen he's taken a step or two back. I don't think he's the worst player in the NBA. I think Dunn just needs a reset this new season.

I don't know. The talent is there and he is only 21. His free throw shooting percentage is a concern though.

Ayton has talent also. Risacher would frustrate in a similar fashion. I know Risacher wouldn't be our #1 pick but he'd cost us real talent. Plus he's more of a tweened forward, which isn't what we need. We'd lose Royce and Dunn but his inconsistency is worse than Dunn and he's 3-4 times the cost.

That deal is worse than initially suggested. Absolutely no chance. Even if it removed Highsmith, Bouyea, and any picks.

Can the kings just hurry up and trade for Morant so I am no longer exposed to these nauseating proposals?

Also, I think these mock trades are way off. I expect they would be thrilled just to clear his salary.

i'll be surprised if anyone takes that contract - the new money rules can cripple teams who gamble big

Thank you! I was thinking the same thing. It would be worse than signing Beal, and he's playing probably less than Beal. We can't take on any more potential dead cap salary.

You know how off season rumors go. Now sign and trade rumors for Mark Williams.

We could have played bigger if we just played the rookies more. So running it back with everyone could be better if we just added the size we do have to the line up.

More size would help the Suns whether it comes internally or externally.

However, their biggest problem, as I see it, was a porous defense and their inability to block out for rebounds.

Size is not a cure-all for this.

The Suns defense was terrible the last few months of the season. The Suns didn't consistently get in front of opposing offensive players. They allowed easy drives to the basket which created a simple inside outside game for opponents. I suspect it was a combination of player personnel and coaching. This is the most concerning as I view it.

I think they also just lost focus from being tired and injured. Both Booker and Gillespie definitely had some physical things going on. All the coaches we have had lately will just run the legs off the guys during the season. They need to trust their lineups more and play more guys and spread the minutes during the regular season. It happened this year, and even when we had KD. Maybe we take a step as a team this season, and get more of the lineup involved.

Ott didn't play Manman and Fleming enough. I wonder how many games Green, Williams, Dillon, Book and Grayson played when all were healthy.
