    Hey This_Guy

FYI- I was not on this board before now nor was I in the chat room. Feel free to have an admin check the IP address to verify that. I have an impersonator on an Internet bulletin boards. I must be moving up in the world.

    where is This_guy?

I find this amusing, all of that pent up anger and booing that was directed at King on Sunday is directed to me on this forum. The good news is I'm not worried about what you think about this guy. The bad news is whatever I think seems to be on the forefront of your minds. And like King, I...

Nice work, guys. I'll just lump you all in with the crowd that spent most of Sunday booing. My thoughts on the booing? Those of you who noted that as paying fans you have every right to boo are absolutely correct. But that does not change the fact that doing so makes you some combination of...

    Props for Green's draft

It's one thing if you think Paquarelli has no credibility, but it's comical that in another thread today you gave props to Pro Football Talk for making good points.

Is Patrick Ramsey a Dennis Green QB?

How do you know I'm not hot?

Is Patrick Ramsey a Dennis Green QB?

Correct. Ramsey did not whine when Gibbs signed Brunell, it was Ramsey's agent. Ramsey has escalators in his contract for playing time, so when it looked like Ramsey wasn't going to play, his agent demanded a trade.

Is Patrick Ramsey a Dennis Green QB?

I'm quite serious. King was a college football legend in Louisiana, and when you follow a legend it always hard. Ramsey had to hear for years about how he didn't match up to what King did. No one ever wants to follow a legend, especially a coach or quarterback.

Is Patrick Ramsey a Dennis Green QB?

Well, I did watch King play for 4 YEARS and Ramsey play for 3 YEARS, so I might have a pretty good idea how good both are, and yes King is much better. Ramsey does have and absolute cannon for an arm, but he doesn't have the intangibles King does. Favre is the only QB who might have a better arm...

Green believed in McCown, or so he said

Wow. That's some great detective work.

Green believed in McCown, or so he said

BTW, as the resident Shaun King guy, I'll tell you what the best part to like is.....He is a "winner". Everyone wants to call his NFL winning percentage some kind of fluke, but he won 19 out of his last 20 games at Tulane. I assure you that's not a coincidence. Neither Patrick Ramsey nor JP...

    Nope. Cade McNown was 4th.

Culpepper was the fifth and King was the sixth.

In the end, Berry was a better choice than Wistrom, but at the time, Wistrom's value was higher. That being said, almost everyone agreed that the Seahawks overpaid for GW.

I don't know about the top, but he was right below Wistrom and Kearse. Same thing with Macklin, Ayanbadejo and King. These guys were not the marquee/name free agents, but they were the guys DG wanted and went after. The big mistake here is thinking that DG agrees with the public consensus...

They run the spread offense and have talent at a number of skill positions, so they don't need to force feed DW. BTW, the comment about the schedule....it's better than you think. CUSA football is pretty good this year, and certainly better than the Big 10.
