    Draft Positioning Week 16

I don’t think the NE game matters anymore. At worst, we would be tied with TEN on SOS, and the next step is H2H which we “lost” (thus draft higher).

    Draft Positioning Week 16

The Cardinals still have to lose to have a matching record. The better SOS means you’re the “better” team so you draft later.

    OT: other games 1-4-25

Yes, that should clinch the tie-breaker. Now we just need to be in a tie (ARI loss).

    OT: other games 1-4-25

With the Browns and Vikings winning, I believe we would clinch the SOS tie-breaker against TEN with a win by either NYG/NO/NE. Just need one of those now.

    OT: other games 1-4-25

It is part of the strength of schedule tie-breaker parlay against Tennessee. If the Browns, Giants, and Vikings hold on (other combos in play, too) we should pick ahead of TEN (assuming we lose later today).

    Draft Positioning Week 16

For the SOS tie-breaker with Tennessee, a lot hinges on the CLE/CIN game. If the Bengals win, we need all four (NE/NYG/NO/MIN) to go our way. If the Browns win, we only need two of those to go our way. If the Browns/Bengals tie, I believe we need three of those to go our way.

    Draft Positioning

It is already accounted for in the calculation, which looks not only at games already played, but for presumed future opponents as well (if somehow one of these week 18 games was canceled, like when the player’s heart stopped in the Bills/Bengals game a few years ago, we would have to...

    Draft Positioning

The website looks like it made a change to the number of “stars” needed, 4/6 to tie, 5/6 to win. This is what agrees with my math, see below for the details: You can cancel out the games which were common opponents (and the H2H game since this whole thing assumes we finish with the same...

It’s been 100 years. Time to end the curse

Nope. They cheated. Cardinals remain 1925 champs, fair and square.

    Worst loss in Franchise History?

I didn’t go back to re-break the ties, but I seem to remember that had we won those two games (and everything else played out the same), we would’ve made the playoffs at 8-8 in 2004.

    Thursday night division game Niners@Rams

Since we are short on divisional tie-breakers right now, a tie in tonight’s game would likely be the best outcome — it would essentially be a loss to both teams in regards to how it impacts the Cardinals (unless we tie a game, or either the Rams/49ers tie again).

    OT: other games 9-21-25

I thought the same thing. However, it looks like it was the Monday Night Miracle against Miami in 2000.

    2025 Opponents Confirmed

Looking like Houston, New Orleans, Tampa Bay, Indianapolis, and Cincinnati for me. Possibly Dallas as well. If things line up just right, I might be able to attend every game east of Phoenix.

    3-Way Tie favors Cards

Had we beaten Carolina, the only remaining help we would’ve needed would have been for Seattle to lose to the Rams. We would have still needed to beat the Rams and 49ers.

    3-Way Tie favors Cards

It depends. If we lose our game, then we need the Rams to LOSE, otherwise we are eliminated (ignoring ties for now). If we win our game, then it is *probably* better for the Rams to WIN. The rationale is a bit convoluted, see below and decide for yourself. Both games are played at the same...
