(Bold) Predictions for Game 4:
Devin Booker says that while the Suns "have just been chillin'" for the first 3 games, they are finally ready to "get serious" for games 4 to 7. Booker than proceeds to go out and score 11 points on 4-22 shooting and gets ejected with one minute left in the game...
Ignoring the team's needs because he allegedly "knows better" than conventional wisdom has been a longstanding issue with him.
The thing puts me off him most isn't so much that he's not a particularly good GM, but that he is so freaking arrogant whenever he gets questioned about his decisions.
If there had been any prior doubt due to his Lebron coattailing, Vogel has proven this season beyond all doubt that he is not really a competent coach. I can't imagine he gets another HC job after this at the NBA level unless it's an interim gig with one of the low level franchises that's...
We are definitely going to need to maximize the value we do get out of our draft picks going forward. And the only way that's likely to happen is for Ishbia to invest in good scouting and player development... and especially, good front office people that he will allow to do their jobs without...
Jon Wilner had a great column about Herm the Germ today, wondering why ASU bought him out instead of firing him for cause, which they legitimately could and should have...
Well, that's not the worst idea I've ever heard of. Sounds like the ABOR is starting to respond to donor/booster concerns.
Maybe Crow will leave in protest? At least we can dream.
While I won't say it's impossible that he will last another year in his job, there's no way Ishbia (or Sarver before him) is micromanaging every move Jones makes. He's been plenty stupid on his own.
Thanks, James Jones. People seemingly keep giving him a pass because Ishbia appears to be a meddler as an owner and therefore gets blamed (understandably but also unreasonably) for EVERY bad move the Suns have made recently.
But Jones is definitely behind many of the terrible smaller moves that...
Well, I was a bit worried that Vogel might save his job if the Suns had a one series mini-run because of the favorable matchup against Minnesota. I guess that worry was unfounded, anyway.
On the bright side, people - probably about a week until we get rid of Bleeping Frank Vogel and never have...
This is kinda my feeling, too. They need to put together a solid run through top level competition before I'll let myself be fooled again into "believing."
