Just like when you takes shots at me then get proved wrong.
Like you try to diss me for suggesting HOU wouldn’t end up with Anderson and Stroud.
Then you kept on me for suggesting HOU pick would be lower than we all were expecting because you thought their roster was trash.
Real talk DVontel...
But he’s a lock for the NFL whether it’s this year or next. Even if he suffers a major injury next year, there are teams that will take him in Round 1 knowing at some point he will be playing for them and he’s worth the redshirt year.
Maybe a team drafting in mid to late first round moves up to grab him or team taking him next year isn’t as poorly constructed as CHI, ARZ or NE are this year and pull a worst to first. Maybe he just doesn’t want to play for CHI or ARZ. You don’t know what will happen in draft next year if he...
How so? Even if it isn’t $20M he could end up with the highest NIL in CFB next year and he doesn’t have to go to NFL to take care of his family. Maybe he ain’t in a rush to go to a losing team.
What I meant was money aside for it being equal. He is getting paid no matter what next year, he would just be in a winning situation at OSU compared to ARZ, CHI or possibly NE.
I've read ARZ has been linked to Michael Wacha. Not sure what he is seeking or if Rodriguez signing removes their interest but Wacha has bounced around the last couple of years after a great start to his career in STL. He had a good year with SD last year so he should have interest around the...
That is a very good contract. Gambo actually mentioned before they went off air today that reports were it was down to two teams for Rodriguez without specifics and he wouldn't be surprised if ARZ was one of the teams.
Its a huge risk paying that kind of money coming off elbow surgery and about to hit 30 years old. The heavy toll pitching and hitting will take on his body will only increase as he gets older. At least he will take a break from pitching this year recovering from surgery.
Personally I think he is gone. Gambo threw out a little nugget yesterday and while I am usually skeptical of him I agree it made sense. He mentioned Kurt Warner's son EJ just entered transfer portal yesterday and ASU makes sense. Had a good year at TEM last year and hometown kid and son of...
