ASFN's Own Green Machine will be back on the radio!

Seems kind of messed up to finally log back on to respond to his, but hey all! It's awesome to see the site still up and running with many of the original folks. Also, this makes me feel old. I am excited to get back on the radio and into a sports job again. Even if it's on a station some...

    UA & Pac-12 Basketball Thread

Anyone else notice Wear shoving Jerrett in the back and under the hoop on the game-winning putback? Kind of made a difference, methinks. UA ain't perfect but they appear to be playing their best ball in a while. Sucks that they didn't win Vegas but the real Tournament starts next week.

Same ole Cardinals fans gotta go

Not sick of any Cardinals fans -- sick of the mentality some seem to still have. Hence the request for the "death" of those fans. I'm about moving on, because I think the Cardinals organization has. But hey, I'm not here to tell you how you should feel or even defend my column. I don't...

Same ole Cardinals fans gotta go

Corporate shill, no. I write what I feel and nothing more. And the gist of this piece is not to rip fans so much as the idea that these are the "Same Old Cardinals". Disagree all you want, but I feel Mike B. is proving with the way he does business that things have changed. The result may...

    Sack Counter

That page was both fun and horrifying to put together.

    @ Stanford

I don't disagree. However, offense had a chance to win the game. They went three-and-out. A couple first downs on that drive and the game is over. But everything his UA team is we figured it would be coming into the season, except maybe the offense is better than we imagined. It's...

    @ Stanford

I didn't mind that decision. Lousy kick return kind of forced Rich Rod's hand, IMO. With the way Stanford linemen were batting balls around (see the three-and-out series before, pick in OT) why risk the turnover for a slim chance at getting into FG range, which then carries an even slimmer...

Hall: Grace and Sutton Both to be Replaced

Haha I didn't tell you that, the Chicago Tribune did. :) I'm merely the middle man.

"Kevin Kolb is the new Jake Plummer"

Also I should add, if you guys have any thoughts on what we could be doing better at ArizonaSports.com (besides replacing me) please feel free to let me know. We're always looking to improve and since you are our audience it only makes sense to hear what you have to say.

"Kevin Kolb is the new Jake Plummer"

As someone who has no fewer than three Jake Plummer jerseys hanging in the closet I certainly feel your pain.

"Kevin Kolb is the new Jake Plummer"

No problem with someone disagreeing with the assertion, it is an opinion piece after all. However, the gist is that a QB who tends to make some of the dumbest throws you'll ever see also has the ability to bounce back and bring his team with him. That's the comparison I was trying to make...

    Kolb must start against Eagles

Psh, he had the Seahawks right where he wanted him.

    Kolb must start against Eagles

How quickly you guys forget the Eagles game, where Skelton made just enough plays to get the win. I'm not saying Skelton was great or Kolb was terrible or anything of the sort. Only thinking that we should not get carried away thinking Kolb played anything but an OK game today. It was enough...

    Kolb must start against Eagles

Kolb did nothing today that Skelton didn't do last season. The key for the QBs is simply not screwing up and letting the defense win the game. But man, think of how scary this team would be if the offense didn't stink.
