At Wrigley today and tomorrow. Tomorrows looking iffy with storms heading this way. There is a party going on in Wrigleyville as we were down there yesterday as well after the Dodgers game.

Hermann & Drury back to back. 11-2. Another interesting fact shared by Schulte: Gosselin leads the Majors in pinch hits with 7.

Schulte talking about the Castillo - Hermann combo at catcher: 11 hr's, 38 rbi's, .279 avg with good stats getting runners. Would love to see this continue.

I know someone who works the Laveen beat, so I was a bit on pins and needles when this went down yesterday. Turns out Ofc. Glasser was a well liked member of the #birdgang nation, as well as a husband and father of two. #RIPDavidGlasser...
Something else to keep in mind, D. Hall reminded the radio guys yesterday the 2011 Dbacks were 17-23 on May 16th. Just saying.

It's as simple as a team deciding he's not getting you to the promise land, and we can't or won't pay him what he could get in the market. 2.5 teams have tried him since with the same result. We have Ahmed and Drury, and Atlanta has nothing.

I haven't heard anything, but I'm thinking Peralta must be farther from 100% than what we're being told? If he can't even pinch hit, seems to me we'd be better off putting him on the DL, get him healthy, and get a bat up here.

Ahmed sitting, Hermann in CF, Owings at SS, and Goldschmidt batting 4th.
