Scouring the internet in search of something, anything that helps rationalize your hate.

So sad. :sad::sad::sad:
scouring the internet - rationalizing my hate - curling the ends of my immoral mustache while the wife plays nefarious piano music in the background - it's all so sad

I see Kyler starting the season for the Vikings. They are only paying him 1.3 million and want to see what they really have. They didn''t bring him in to sit on the bench. He is not under contract next year.

You're next. His last stop will be the CFL, to compete for Grey Cups. :D

It is literally what happens to all of the too small for the NFL QBs, like Doug Flutie (who won 3 Grey Cups).

Just don’t dance around on his grave too much when he (likely) flames out in MIN my friend since you are infinitely better than that.

Homeboy never said anything bad about hippies.

And growing up half black half Asian in cow **** Texas must have been a trip, so let’s be merciful even if he is a little weird.

this is the part where some fans (here) say mccarthy gets traded - might be good for kyler so he can have a cohesive lockeroom but then again they'd be stuck with kyler

Not at all surprised that Kyler got the starting nod. He's always looked great during training camps. Where his speed and arm strength don't have to contend with his dislike of physicality.

The question is how quickly he reverts to his panicked pocket presence and constant checkdowns. Midseason?

The #Vikings “QB competition” between JJ McCarthy and Kyler Murray ended before a preseason game was even played...

That would seem to indicate it wasn’t close.

JJ McCarthy is now set to be QB2, though Carson Wentz and Max Brosmer are also on the roster.

From the Athletic

Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell said this decision does not shift the team’s focus on further development for former first-round pick J.J. McCarthy. The 23-year-old took some first-team reps this summer, but his lack of consistency made Minnesota’s decision a relatively easy one.

Murray continues to acclimate to the Vikings’ system. Early in camp, miscommunications surfaced between him and his receivers. However, his willingness to push the ball vertically fits with O’Connell’s desire to remain explosive via the passing game.
