Another great outing by Pfaadt since being sent down. Overall ERA down to 3.36 now. Only gave up 2 hits and 2 walks tonight.
Corbin with the huge triple to tie the game in the 9th!
Marte sticks with his lack of clutch hitting and pops out in the infield. If he could get it going at all we'd be in good shape.

All Marte has to do is lift a fly ball to win and then he does that. When was the last time Marte did anything? I seriously can't stand the guy anymore. All he does is grounds out or pops it up in the infield and he's hitting cleanup. Please Hazen get rid of this washed up clown this off-season.

The dude is dead weight at this point. It won't be long before Moreno starts getting walked to face him in big spots since all he does is ground out to 2nd or pop it up.

Reality for the rest of the season is quite simple to see… If BOTH Marte and Carroll don’t wake up from this season-long slump (Marte just went yard as I type), this team will begin to enter a steady nose-dive… you can’t rely on Gabby alone and hope second tier dudes like Tawa, Arrenado, Vargas, Kepler, McCann can continue to make up for the zero production coming from Marte and Carroll…

I have no doubt Torey and his staff are drilling this into the player’s heads. But, you can lead a horse to water…
Meanwhile… aside from the stray occasion when Marte’s wild-ass swing align with a pitch, he and Carroll are dumping truck-loads of pressure on the rest of this under-talented team. Gonna come home to roost at some point… could be soon.

Missed today's game but glad to see they recovered today and took the series! Now on to the Rockies. Need to take 2 of 3 or a sweep would be great but the Rockies shouldn't be taken lightly. They are better than their record and are a lot better than last year. Go Dbacks!
