Somewhat of a small thing here but Beck sees the safety blitz, calls an audible, defense audibles as well and we end up running a play that’s good for them.

that was nice - i think his first audible (was a run) for no gain but he's out there reading drfenses

Yeah, it's a great start. I wouldn't roll with Beck game 1 though.

there's a big difference between being a 3rd round qb and being the 3rd qb taken off the board - beck is just a rare case - nobody drafted a qb from pick #13 all the way to us with the 65th pick - that's nuts - and hopefully fortunate for us but it's early and beck's had bad days at camp too - but damn - poised - making throws - calling multiple audibles? didn't see that one coming - beck's also only taken one sack - we'll have to look at that again to see if either bosontis or williams got burned

Cause Mikey is cheap and couldn't get anyone else. I'd expect a change next year.
