Yeah I noticed that too. I love it when he and green interact on camera because their personalities are complete opposite lolOne of the rare instances of him smiling. Dude is usually so stoic.

You could also argue that we need that playmaking off the bench because we already have Booker's playmaking in the starting lineup.Gillespie averaged more assists per game last year in 28 mpg than Jalen Green has in any season of his career. More importantly his AST/TO is much better.
It makes more basketball sense to pair our best player with the better PG and bring Jalen off the bench where nobody else can create their own shot.

Green has been the same player for 5 years he is what he is.Jalen Green will have a a player option for the 2026-27 season.
Bringing him off the bench is not going to help the contract situation one bit. This must be factored into the equation.
This was never a thing anyway. No max deal for Jalen Green. He's probably worth a bit more than Brooks. I hope he can improve but yeah, he's been in the league some time. Not sure how much he can demand based on potential. He should see what Jaylen Brown got. Is he half the player that he is?
OT: Awesome video of Collin. I had a similar game when I played 30 years ago.
Dillion is the franchise tone setter. You could argue Green may be worth a little less. Especially after an injury plagued year last year.No max deal for Jalen Green. That reminds of a guy that doesn't pass or playmake. Hope he's working on that too.xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
What I said was he’s been the same player for 5 years. Kinda DA-like in that regard.Saying a 24 year old player is a finished product ignores the history of the NBA.
you can’t run a team with these kinds of fears. You could spend all year accommodating every whim and he could still walk. The Suns need this team to be the kind of team he wants to be on. When you try to please everyone, you end up pleasing no one.Jalen Green will have a a player option for the 2026-27 season.

Problem is the interest in Green is probably all-time low.Theoretically this is true but it's a player's league.
If this is what the Suns should want, they would likely be better off seeking a trade than demoting him.
