There is nothing like Jordan... I didn't even like Jordan growing up, he was so good it was boring.

The Bulls need to win this game? They're down 4 with 3 minutes left? Whatever... it doesn't matter... they have Jordan.

There has never been any athlete like that in any sport that I can remember.

If not for the New York Giants, pulling catches out of their butts, Brady would be the only athlete on the same tier.

Nope. I had one chance in my life to see Jordan live. And didn't. That's Bucket List level!

That said, the best player I've ever seen live was Anthony Davis. Quite a difference.
Oh I am totally on your side on this one. I got to see Messi play live. Now with the World Cup, he's literally the only guy I have seen play live in the World Cup. I got one chance to see him play. If he sat out that day, I would have been so angry! There's few athletes that are on Jordan's level. I feel your pain!

For just pure entertainment, Pistol Pete Maravich. This guy was literally an And One, or Harlem Globetrotter playing in an NBA game. He would do ANYTHING to score or assist.

Allen Iverson would do something every game, you were like, what did he just do?

Doctor J was a much watch for me. I was so grateful he snuck in that one championship in the eighties that wasn't Boston or LA.

Barkley. Seriously, if you go back and watch some of his playoff games, not even regular season, playoff games, he was doing incredible stuff and stats that were staggering. Most guys have a ceiling. They score 20, and you know that guy is done for the night. Or he's going to start missing shots, etc. Barkley would keep going. Not only that, he was likely to hit the game winner, too. If he had come about after Jordan's era, Phoenix would probably have reeled off a bunch of championships.

Larry Bird and Magic Johnson. The whole eighties were their playground.

There's too many! Walt Frazier was mentioned. That guys just lived to steal the ball at key moments in games. At the time he was billed as having the fastest hands in the NBA.

Wilt. back when I was little. Amazing athlete for his day. Like they took a guy from 30 or 40 years from the future and brought him back in time to play in the NBA.

I saw Messi play when he was with Barcelona when they played an exhibition game against the L.A. Galaxy at the Rose Bowl. That was cool, but at the time, Beckham was really the draw vs that great team.
