He improved defensively but I don't know if the Warriors should match that or not,

The one that has me scared is the rumors of them signing DeRozan, just not what they need at this point, doesn't guard, doesn't make 3's.

They should have just refused to do that.

I am convinced that cap space is more valuable than him under the current system.

Booker for Ayton lol
I was actually responding to this part:

"Would have been nice to bring Shaq 2.0 back home.."

As in, for whom would it be nice for? Us fans? (I think not.) Or Ayton. (probably not either)

He will be a free agent if he clears waivers. How I wish the Suns could afford him.
Mainstreet, I just cannot wrap my brain around your frustration about not having another center. We have Williams, Maluach, and Oso. That's two of the longest playersin the league and 6-11 defender and ball mover. We really do not need another center. Fleming could play some small ball center if he has bulked up as some say. It's the deepest center rotation we have ever had I think.

it's confusing to me also. We have a starting C. We have a young talented big who needs a lot more minutes next year to get better and we have a decent 3rd string C. Pining after a 4th C is confusing. Who's minutes is he going to eat and how much are we going to spend at that position?

What's a trade kicker

If a player is traded they get a raise, usually between 5-15% of that years salary. It usually has to be paid out immediately also. So if a player has a max trade kicker, 15%, on a 50m deal annually then they can request the extra $7.5 million from their new team when it's official.

Some trade kickers require the original team to pay them, the one who traded them away, but it's usually the receiving team. Like 95% of the time.

And very likely, in one or two more years, Cleveland will be making a Jaylen Brown type deal to move him.

It's not about frustration, it’s where the Suns are most vulnerable.

Hope isn't a defensive strategy.

The Suns finished last season with a defensive rating of 113.4, and Mark Williams (when not injured), for all his height, still lets opponents shoot nearly 60% at the rim. That isn't a wall, it's a welcome mat.

The Suns need a dependable rotation player at this position if the defense continues to be a sieve, not just more bodies to watch the paint leak. Some may see a "deep rotation," I see the same cracks.

They are talking about Maluach not getting minutes as it is. I think Maluach gets minutes when they rest Williams in abck to backs and load management. Ott loves Oso, so he's getting minutes.

Dallas is sending Middleton to the Wizards via sign-and-trade as part of a larger six-team deal that includes, in total, the Mavericks, Wizards, Clippers, Pistons, Bucks and Grizzlies. It involves previously agreed upon deals such as John Collins, Gary Harris and Taurean Prince (Detroit), Isaiah Stewart (Memphis), Santi Aldama (Mavericks), Caris LeVert (Bucks), etc.
