More than likely the Suns are done with the NBA draft -they got the player they highly coveted in Koa Peat. They do have some cash left like a little over a million so could poke around but I do NOT see them using any assets to get a second-round pick today.

I'd still like the Suns to explore UDFA free agents if there are any interesting ones available.

Sources: The Los Angeles Lakers are acquiring No. 56 from the Chicago Bulls in the second round of the NBA draft tonight at 8 pm ET on ESPN. Lakers sent cash to the Bulls to get a pick tonight.

The Suns are likely done in the NBA Draft and will now turn their attention to Mark Williams,
@Gambo987 reports. Nothing is close at this time, he states.

Isaiah Evans was the lone player to receive a green room invite and not be selected in the first round.

He should hear his name called early tonight and will be going into the NBA with a chip on his shoulder.

It might be fun to extend the draft for another round or two for the fan excitement although UDFAs seems to have help level the playing field.

Still, Austin Reaves guided himself to the Lakers.

Adding a round that is for the G-League would do it.

I think they need to adjust the cba before making any changes because so many teams are giving picks away now because of tax penalties so it'd be hard to extend the draft when only a fraction of the teams seem to have interest beyond pick 35 or so.

Yeah, extending the draft would be for the fans. They deserve the excitement, G-League or whatever.

I hope the players opt out of the CBA in 2029 (I'm thinking that might be an option).

The NBA has treated 2nd round picks like they’re Pokémon cards

Corey Camper Jr signs with the Suns as an exhibit 10 contract.

Puzzled by #5 pick by Clippers. Wagler seems a bit high there. I guess they will regret not looking elsewhere, but shooting is very important these days and they have some pieces in place already.
