That’s how the Suns have always rolled. With the ”other” brother lol. All joking aside, if he’s a good player then I’m in.

Royce is a solid 3 and D player on a steal of a contract, Grayson is one of the best 3 point shooters in the league, his contract would be well above water if not for that he was perpetually injured last year.

Hornets, Pistons, maaaaaaaaaaaaybe even the Warriors (if they think LeBron will sign on the cheap) would love to have one of those guys. Any young team with a good salary situation or any team that is desperate for that last gasp, I think Grayson and O'Neale would certainly be in play.

My BEST hope is for a mid first, but I think a pick in the 20s for one of those guys is absolutely attainable.

I feel like Green fits the archetype of so many highly athletic players who can do as much harm as good on a night to night basis. For him to be a positive player he needs to make a leap, progress in a skill he's been bad at... like passing, outside shooting, or defense.

I don't see the leap happening, and even if he does improve, he's a terrible fit with the guys who we're locked into. The Green, Booker, Brooks lineups were awful to watch.

That said, I think he's here next year, because I don't see anyone biting on his current contract unless we sweeten the pot.

He's young, he seemed to show flashes of buying into the system last year, so, if he stays, I hope he figures out his role.
I like your valuation of those guys, but teams value picks more than established players, especially first round picks. Draft picks are like lottery tickets. They really aren't worth as much as people think, but the dream of hitting it big keeps people paying for them.

Trevon Brazile is 6-11 with a 41 inch vertical! Wow. I am not promoting him or anything. Its just that stood out.

So. Just watching a little video on him. He is 6-11, moves like a g/f, has a 41 inch vert and blocks 1.7 per game. He also shoots 34% from three. His defensive rating is his negative. He would be an interesting flyer in the mid second round.

I guess the knock on him is that he is inconsistent and may have a fairly low basketball IQ. Looks like he kind of a 6-11 Gerald Green.

I was day dreaming a while back about what it would be like to have at least one more athletic 7 footer to pair up with Man-Man
would be a blast to watch

There are some interesting players at the end of round two, if the Suns just stand pat.

Rafael Castro, a 6-10 pf center, that averages 20 pts, 12 boards, 2.3 blocks and 2.3 steals. He also has a 36 inch vert. But he doesn't shoot the 3.
Tobe Awaka is a 6-9 rebounding maniac, averaging nearly 16 boards a game for Arizona. He also shoots 40% from three. He also has a 36 inch vertical.
Trevon Brazile--already discussed earlier.
Maliq Brown gets 3.2 steals a game for Duke, that stat is often considered one of the most consequential for predicting success in the NBA.
Izaiyah Nelson gets nearly 13 boards per game, 2 blocks and more than 2 steals.

There will be some undrafted players this year that go on to have quality NBA careers.

Yaxel Lendeborg could reportedly fall out of the lottery and slide as low as the No. 18 pick, per
@BrettSiegelNBA

“While there has been talk around the league that Lendeborg will fall out of the lottery and be available in the 15-to-18 range, possibly giving him a backstop of Charlotte at the 18th pick, I still view him as a lottery talent for several reasons.”

I do not care, it will not impact us.

Last years picks for referenece:
Even with our starting center out, ManMan ranks 43rd in ppg - that's a top 10 pick.
Flem ranked 35th out of last years picks, and was drafted at 31.
Brea ranks 41st, and was drafter at 41.

Just saying, the Suns have two first-round draft picks they could trade draft night, 2027 and 2033.

Not saying they will or should but who knows their thought process.

More likely, the Suns try to move up in the 2nd round.

If the Suns could trade one of their first round picks for a bundle of second round picks, that would be tempting. Two picks in this draft would be nice especially if one of them were earlier than #47.
