I was also 15 when Cradle of Love came out. Doesn't mean I think it's the better video.

Haha, yeah 16 here. I wasn't really watching mtv much at that point, but I definitely tuned into this video when it was on.

I just love how fun and silly the Men at Work video is.

Cradle of Love was directed by David Fincher. It was on the soundtrack for The Adventures of Ford Fairlane, and features clips from the film, but since Andrew Dice Clay (who played Fairlane) had been banned from MTV, he is not shown in any of the clips.

At the 1990 MTV Video Music Awards, the video was nominated for Best Male Video and Best Special Effects and won the award for Best Video from a Film. The video was voted number 33 on VH1's 50 Sexiest Video Moments.

tough call. two of my favorites from back in the day.... but I always try to judge these by,...does the video tell the story in the song... they both kinda do..kinda..
but Men at Work captured the rediculousness of the song in the video...so they get my vote..
