This is a really good move though, especially at that price. He was solid last year and only 27. As a rookie, he looked like one of the next great Atlanta pitchers.

I am guessing Kelly returns soon and is our opening day starter.

Arizona Diamondbacks starter Michael Soroka has become one of the finest free-agent signings of the winter. He signed a 1-year, $7.5 million deal and is 8-3 with a 3.28 ERA. Today was the first time since 2019 that he went at least 7 innings and yielded 1 run.

Didn't Soroka have a good history before injuries, though? He basically got a prove it deal from AZ to show he's fully recovered.
