Hey y’all. The bloom is already coming off the OTAs, and the Cards haven’t announced when training camp will open yet, but it’s likely coming in mid-July.

This board is quiet due to many high-volume posters being dead and also chronic mismanagement by ownership and his cronies, toadies, and courtiers.

So, what topics would you like to hear about most in the coming dead zone?

I would be interested in some analysis on MLFs offense last year wiht LA, what it wants/likes to do and how that fits with the Cards offensive personnel

EDIT: [sorry -- answered in earnest rather than looking at the poll choices]

Yeah when the DVOA annual comes out in late June/early July I’ll share whatever they put together.

I don’t have a lot of belief that Coach Good Hang had a lot of structural authority on the Rams offense. I suspect he was mostly organizational/administrative in that role.

I also don’t have the NFL premium package that lets you look at All-22 historic. I think the 21 and 22 Jets would provide the best perspective on his POV, but (1) those teams were bad and (2) the meta has shifted more than a little since then.

That 22 jets team were in 11 personnel more than 68% of the time and passed out of it 70% of the time.

The 25 rams were in 11 58% of the time and passed almost as often.

Ive read a variety of takes from people who cover the Rams that pointed out how much MLF changed the Rams offense, especially the run game

At the end of the day, it was McVay's calls, etc -- but I believe MLF had real input
