Interesting from Michael Wilson yesterday on LaFleur:"He understands football is controlled chaos and an uncontrolled environment. So he gives us enough rules but then allows natural ability, playmaking ability, natural athleticism and football wherewithal to take over."

He can't unless the Cardinals actually think he is "good" and if that is the case, just pay him.
Well, he is acting as his own agent so, yes he could be holding this up. You know the old lawyer saying about representing yourself.

Another hypothetical scenario: I REPEAT HYPOTHETICAL...First remove the stigma of 1-11, couldn't move the ball in the redzone (no run game) and garbage stats. JB showed he could move the offense last year.
Now MO must decide, IF JB moves the offense and the defense shows up. With the upcoming schedule, WHAT IF, we actually win 7 or 8 games. That takes us out of next year's chance to draft another QB, AND we can admit JB is not gonna last several years. So, if JB starts and we do good...that's bad. Or do you give JB the money and hope he doesn't do well but we look competitive?

I'm a positive person, so be kind. And all responses must contain at least one "esoteric" word...LOLOLOL

According to
@Gambo987 just now on @BurnsAndGambo
, Josh Sweat is not hurt despite being absent from OTAs.

L.J. Collier, meanwhile, had a personal day yesterday.

Why would he put the team first when they aren't putting him first?
This many reasons:

For the 2026 NFL season, Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett is scheduled to earn a base salary of $4.88 million, carrying a cap hit of $9.19 million. His total cash earnings are set to be $5.44 million, which includes a $1.5 million guaranteed base and potential active roster or workout bonuses. [1, 2]
The specific contract details and breakdown for his 2026 season with the Cardinals include:
  • Base Salary: $4,880,000
  • Cap Hit: $9,190,000
  • Guaranteed Money: $1,500,000
  • Total Cash / Potential Earnings: Up to $7.4 million total (with maximum per-game active bonuses and incentives) [1, 2, 3]
He is currently seeking a contract extension to secure more guaranteed money and a raise commensurate with his role as the team's starting quarterback.

You can review the full details of his contract on Spotrac's Jacoby Brissett Profile or Over The Cap's Salary Breakdown

"Jeremiyah is a running back. We know that. But you never know. That's an extremely important play right now that the league has brought back over the years."

HC Mike LaFleur on if he is "experimenting" with Jeremiyah Love on special teams

Don’t know the exact reason for the absence, but I’ve been hearing for awhile that Josh Sweat is not particularly happy in AZ

Guys if you don’t care enough to do you own research and compose your own answer, JUST DON’T POST.

"These guys have been in this system. It is a unique system. It is tough to prepare for. Nick cares so much about this; he's as hard on himself as anybody, which is all you want in a coach."

HC Mike LaFleur on why he retained DC Nick Rallis.

Funny how people don’t remember
@LarryFitzgerald
being a gunner in his first year. HOF bound and still showed up on teams. It’s a non story. Stop it. David Johnson was a returner as well. Just stop with the it’s a slow week so let’s pile on the @AZCardinals. Low hanging fruit

I get what you are saying

But it showed 2 links

Not good enough?
No because it was the most surface-level stuff imaginable. No one learned anything from it. Slop slop slop.

If you want to add something to Jacoby’s contract numbers and didn’t know where to look, you could have used that.

But just slopping over some stuff you searched up is a waste of everyone’s time.

Got it

But are the numbers incorrect?

I think about 8 teams had zero issues preparing for Nick's defense in 2025.
