Its the offseason so just putting this rumor out there for discussion purposes.

Even if true, I cant help but feel like we are being used as leverage yet again.

I cannot fathom the possibility. It makes no sense from either side.

He's got, maybe, one year left, the Cards are about as far beyond contention as anyone in the league and their front office is sending out every indication that they are not particularly interesting in winning next season.

Crazy, but has the game passed him by?

Can he get us to the playoffs?

Another AZ retirement project?

How much?

Way more questions than answers about him.

it would certainly add to the interest factor for 2026

which is what Mike B MUST be thinking (as I delete the 2 emails a day I get from the Cardinals begging me to buy season tickets)

The UFA tender preserves the Steelers' right to receive a compensatory draft pick in the event Rodgers signs with another team while also limiting his ability to sign with another team once training camp begins. The Steelers will have exclusive negotiating rights for Rodgers if he does not sign with another team by July 22 or the first day of Pittsburgh's training camp, whichever is later.

He's had some nightmarish games at Glendale. Bad memories might be a reason to not do it. Of course playing for a bad team and a tough division may be a better reason.

I don’t see it happening, but this would be a no brainer. Rodgers would unequivocally be the best QB on the roster. Our QB situation includes a journeyman who wants to be paid like a starter, a mediocre backup coming off of a major injury, and a 3rd rounder who’s not even close to being ready to start.

If Jacoby is asking for Kirk Cousins money, then sign Rodgers and let Jacoby rot at home.

Let's not forget that this same person claimed that Josh Sweat demanded a trade and would be traded before the draft.
