Collin is likely playing himself off the Suns team and going to get a huge contract but if there is ANY CHANCE.....ANY CHANCE AT ALL to keep this guy Ishbia should do it. Grayson is 30, Book isn't a true PG and this team has had a carousel of PGs on this team constantly looking for one. Have no clue if it's possible but if it is, Ishbia needs to make it happen.

Yeah sounds like we need to move Allen or Oneale first.

No offense to Oneale but I would prefer Oneale over Allen. I think a spot up shooter is easier to replace. Alan does occasionally drive and we have seen in multiple games this year, him single handed shoot us back into a game or put it out of reach. That to me is not easily replaceable.

Collin Gillespie is on track to become the 12th player in NBA history to shoot at least 42% from three on 7+ attempts per game in a season. He would become the first Suns player to achieve it.

Also incredible: Two other players are hitting those marks this year: Kon Knueppel and Jamal Murray

I'd absolutely keep Allen over O'Neale if it weren't for Grayson's injuries. Anyway, I really love this roster and don't want to lose any of them but I'd do whatever it took to hang onto Collin and I suspect that will mean trading Allen.

Collin Gillespie’s total minutes played per season he’s been in the NBA:

2023-24: 225
2024-25: 461
2025-26: 1927 (and counting)

Could certainly be playing a role in his recent struggles.

Collin Gillespie has passed Raja Bell & Grayson Allen for 2nd on the Suns all-time single season 3-point standings. He is 27 away from tying the record.

we have to pay gillespie and it's not just the 3s

dillon dubbed collin the "villain jr" in training camp after finding out how tough and un-disruptable gillespie was - dillon tested everyone on the team looking for softness but ends up giving the undrafted 6 foot nothing nobody his namesake?? and mind you this was all way before collin gillespie blew the funk up

like dillon (and grayson) gillespie plays well when he's angry - alpha male - napoleon complex idk but the anger doesn't translate into frustrated play - it translates into buckets and steals - that's the clutch gene - need to keep those types around - payza man heees monny

Collin Gillespie has the most threes ever by a Suns player in a season but is also only 4 more threes away from tying the record for most ever by an un-drafted player in a season.

I haven't heard of a way. Maybe a link?

The Suns should be able to pay Gillespie but the cap is going to be give and take to get the salaries to work.

By having his early-bird rights as well, this allows Gillepsie to sign and not affect the cap space, allowing them to go over the limit with his deal. That should make fans feel comfortable about the Suns’ salary issues with Jordan Goodwin and Mark Williams as free agents, too.
