Got this off the Great Blue North Draft Report:
"At the same time, the concern about Miami OT Francis Mauigoa’s back hasn’t gone away. Mauigoa, a top 10 candidate, again if healthy, has a degenerative disc in his back that he was able to play through last year, albeit with some discomfort. But back’s are tricky issues and the concern is that he will require surgery at some point which could result in some teams backing off a tad on Thursday."

The NFL med team says it’s a non-factor. As I understand it, it’s non uncommon in linemen. If the new opinions concur, it may not impact his selection. Without that input we can’t say.
