The Suns have a better record without Jalen Green, than with him.

I'm a big fan of Jalen, both the player and the man, but he doesn't fit well here. Whose to say whether that could be fixed next year by inserting him sooner as the delayed debut didn't help Ott or anyone else acclimate him into the offense. I wouldn't be against shopping him this summer on the downlow. Don't make a big deal of it and take a trade quick so it doesn't gain legs of it's own in the media.

If he were willing to accept a Sixth Man role then I'd be in favor of that. It all depends on what he might fetch in a trade though as I feel confident he'd be an amazing Sixth Man.

I threw it out there to be examined for discussion. Even Dillon Brooks couldn't play his game because of the technical foul situation. There are a lot of moving parts.

Truthfully, the Suns are a bit of a mystery the past few months. Somewhere along the way, they quit playing the style of basketball that got them the winning record. Their defense has mostly disappeared.

The 2026 Suns will finish with the franchise's most steals in a season in 45 years. Over four decades. Just an incredible defensive achievement.

Only Phoenix teams above them will be the 1976, 1978, 1979, 1980, and 1981 squads.

He's a starter not a sixth man.

I am sure I am in the minority but I would trade Booker before I would trade Green. If the issue is they don't work together that is the logical thing to do since he is much younger and has a much smaller paycheck.

I thought they started to play pretty well together for awhile there, the issue is the other 3 guys on the court need to make up for their defensive deficiencies.

Royce O’Neale finishes his 9th NBA season with 78 games played. He’s been fantastic as a veteran leader and reliable for the coaching staff to lean on. Everyone raves about his steadiness.Made the most 3’s in his career (212) while shooting 41.3% off the catch.

Collin Gillespie and Royce O'Neale have become the 5th pair of teammates in NBA history to make 200+ threes in a season on 40% or better efficiency.

Jamal Murray and Tim Hardaway Jr. also accomplished it this season.

The duo with the most? Steph and Klay – 8 different times.

The Suns losing would have their 1st-round pick traded to Charlotte in the Nurkic salary dump land at 16. It goes to Memphis in the swaps, and then Charlotte would pick 17 or 18. Swaps hardly mattered. This is Round 1 of 3 for swaps in '28 and '30 (Suns still have those).

Impressive numbers for the 2026 Phoenix Suns:

• 1,210 three-pointers, most in franchise history
• 781 steals, sixth-most in franchise history and most since 1981
• 1,064 offensive rebounds, most since 2002

Always fun mining stats once the season is over. Here’s a fun (obvious) one:

The Lakers were +457 in FTA this season, with the Spurs being #2 at +311. The Suns finished -275, 3rd worst in the league

Is Booker injured? We've all given him flak for the way he has been playing, especially closing big games out. But the last 2 months he was playing like he was after the start of the season. There was a month where we were like he's back to getting his lift on his shots, he actually had some dunks, but then injured his ankle/leg on a block against the Heat? And now he's fading way too much without any lift at all on his shots.
