Awesome that she's back in the Suns family! To Amanda Pflugrad's credit, she has been really good too and asks good questions.

Frank Kaminsky is my favorite. He does a really good job, even in play-by-play.

When he is or isn’t wearing sunglasses indoors. Sorry I’ll never like that guy.
except he knows about 1000X of the sport context needed for the position. a lot of podsters wear sunglasses because the the lighting needed. they work on a shoestring budget. FYI she was not the only one flushed in the make over, probably had a reason

Jordan Ott probably had beginner's luck as a coach.
Man Man and Flemming need to be playing - playing 3 guards and a SF with an undersized C is not going to work. they are getting destroyed on defense and boards, icing on the cake is they are not hitting 3s either. I think they will regret not trading Dillon at the deadline. that dude is not as good as perceived during the 1st half of season

They did lay offs when they let her go, and while you are right, a lot of people were let go, it wasn't for cause. Or at least that is the prevaling opinion.

You have a much higher opinion of him. And he doesn't wear the sunglasses all the time. It's pretentious.

Last 4 games (with Booker/Brooks/Green)

Allen: 9.3 PPG, 33.3 FG%
Gillespie: 6.5 PPG, 32.1 FG%
O'Neale: 5.8 PPG, 43.8 FG%
Team: 20.8 APG

Allen said teams aren't helping as much anymore to cut off passes and let Suns go 1-on-1. Suns gotta open back up their ball movement somehow.

The Suns have the worst OFFRTG in the NBA this season in 4th quarters (108.0).

Their NETRTG of -5.7 in the 4th ranks 26th.

In the clutch, their NETRTG falls to -9.8 (24th).

This is not a team built to succeed in the postseason.

I'm skeptical of that. Too many times in important games, a team punks the opponent by activating an injured player. Maybe doncic (not "Luka"--i am not on A first name basis with him just because he's famous) will play hurt.
He's in Europe getting his hamstring looked at. And we know that hamstring injuries aren't exactly a day or two long.

Did you watch the last game? The Mavs tried to lose in the last 2 minutes, and we still almost lost.

As overrated as I think the Lakers are, we are playing the worst of any team trying to win in the league right now.

Around 2010, the last time the Suns played the Kobe Bryant Lakers, I was where you are: I called the Lakers "human trash." But that was a long time ago.

Presently, you might say the Lakers and I "came to an understanding." The Lakers represent the same crass and superficial desire for fame, wealth and sex that most NBA owners and players have, but the Lakers are more honest and open about it, and I respect that. The Lakers best represent what the NBA is about.

Similarly, I have come to respect the late Kobe Bryant's public personality for not bothering to hide his arrogance and obnoxiousness. He had little of Michael Jordan's hypocrisy. I find Bryant to have been potentially a more complex and interesting personality than Jordan.

I am not being 100 % serious about it, just trying to get fired up. We need something positive and I hope the players show it as well. Not sure when they started to lose their mojo. Come on Suns!

The Suns have a better record without Jalen Green, than with him.

Yeah and he's probably a key reason for some of those losses but many of them were from losing Goodwin, Brooks, Williams and others to injury.

Collin and Jordan had a lot to do with us wreaking havoc on the other guys and we haven't had that since they both went down. Collin obviously came back right away but either his hand is still causing him problems or the league has figured him out.

Injuries can always be used as a reason for losses but just about every NBA team has their share.

Wins and losses are generally a good barometer of success but I judge the Suns more on how they play as a team. Especially the effort they expend on defense and rebounding.

In regard to Jalen Green, the ball doesn't move as well with him in the lineup. Maybe given time, the Suns will find a balance. I was throwing out the Jalen Green factor as something to examine.
