I thought I would start a thread just for Jose. Think about this, game 1 is the game everyone is talking about with two home runs, including the game winner in his MLB debut. Game two, arguably makes the defensive play of the game to save the day for the Dbacks. Game three, bunts in the game winning scores. Who does that as a rookie? Home run to win a game, then two days lays down a game winning bunt! How many guys have game winning bunts? This in his frist three MLB games.

He was in AA last year.

He was the Dbacks #27th ranked prospect, but the Dbacks added him to the 40-man roster to protect him.

Got a lot of playing time in the spring due to so many Dbacks playing in the WBC

He was told he would be brought up sometime this season and to stay ready. He started the year in AAA. He got to play one game in AAA when we called him up. Jose said it was totally unexpected.

He was but an international signing in AA, he just didn't have the big body of work that scouts hang their hat on.

Kid is a baller… natural hitter and extremely confident and smooth fielder wherever he is playing. Pray he stays healthy, as if he does the Dbacks have a legit STUD waiting to burst into the scene.

Dude needs to be locked in either at 1st or 3rd. Santana and Arenado are on the wrong side of DONE.

We have had reasonable luck finding first basemen. If he can take over third, that would be a blessing!

I perrsonally think Naylor was the dude who ratted out Marte and that is why he was sent packing like 2 days after the story broke.

I just turned on the game and Fernandez hits a 400 foot plus double. This guy is becoming my favorite player! Dbacks up 4-2 now over the Orioles.

Batting .342 for the year, with .859 slug, and one of the highest percentages in the MLB with runners in scoring position. I know it was in the mid four hundreds enetering Mexico City series. Having a hard time finding it now.
