Naw don’t leave. This is a pretty established community. We need new blood. Even if it’s kinda different. Just develop a little thick skin and remember that in all likelihood you’ll never encounter any of us yahoos in the real world, and if you do, it’ll likely be a cool experience.

mel, I may be wrong, but I think you may be getting confused when a string of posts doesn't make any sense because it's one of those short "inside jokes" posts. This happens in the middle of threads all the time. If it doesn't make sense....just move on until it does. Again, don't take post too seriously. I've never seen members attack each other out of spite.....well, not very often anyway...LOL

mel, it sounds like you've got some personal issues going on in your life right now. So, can I suggest when you post something that's more personal than football related use the term "off topic" or OT before posting. This will help members to respond appropriately. For now, at least be thankful for your daughter being in your life.

I grew up in Maplewood, so a little South of you, but moved to Texas way back in 1980. My grandparents had moved from Florissant down to Texas about 10 yrs before. Grandfather became an obnoxious Cowboy fan.

You are in for a rough ride but you will get used to us, just remember many of us have known each other for a couple of decades or more. Some of our friends here are no longer with us like Skkorp and others.
