Well it’s Friday. So that was it? That’s who we brought in? Now we wait to add a few pieces from the worst draft ever?

5 wins here we come, still trying to be optimistic so I’m not saying 3.

He wasn't the third best offensive lineman. Just piling on. Evan Brown was really bad last year. At the end of the year Adams and Gaines were playing better than Brown. No need to keep him. I realize that Brown missed significant time at the end of year for personal reasons.
Adams and Gaines were playing because Brown was out with a personal issue. Neither of them were "good". I do think they were playing better at the end of the year than they were previously but there was also zero stakes.

I think both Pryor and Wilkinson were signed because of G/T swing versatility
Lord, I hope so. Unfortunately, it would also mean probably taking an underwhelming RT at #3. I'd rather we target a RT in the 2nd round or sign one in FA to start, and use the top pick to target an immediate Big John.

I think RT is a big enough issue that if you don't have a credible starter, waiting until round two is an even worse idea.

Im not big on either RT but this draft is bleh

With Monti in full on tank mode, who cares? RT is deep in this draft without a top end star, and if Minshew/Brisket get crushed, well, again, who cares? Let's not burn a top 3 pick on a RT who isn't even as big a prospect as PJJ, who himself was overdrafted.

The Cardinals have made it a point to bolster their defensive line depth in free agency. That group now includes:

-Walter Nolen
-Darius Robinson
-Dante Stills
-Roy Lopez
-LJ Collier
-PJ Mustipher
-Jonah Williams
They made it a point to bolster depth?! This is an absolutely pathetic group.

Williams is an interesting choice. He’s a pass rush specialist. If he continues in this role it should make it difficult for QBs to step up in the pocket. This could be huge for Sweat and other outside rushers. When Nolen returns this could be a very formidable rush.(posted elsewhere also)

5.5 sacks and 23 pressures in 5 NFL seasons.

Dante Stills had 8 sacks and 18 pressures through his first two seasons.

Right… just like Browning’s specialty was going to do the same thing.

Williams is a NOTHING player in the league. He’s deep depth. What are you even talking about here?

With this D-line? Nope.

After free agency, the Cardinals odds of reaching the playoffs are twice as long as any other team.

Cardinals: +1800
Dolphins: +700
Raiders: +650
Jets: +550
Browns +475

Alternatively, they're -10000 to miss the playoffs. Bet $100, profit $1.

Just Curious. Who are the Big John’s that will be available at #3?
