It's who he's always been. The hype around him among Suns fans before the year last season was a bit much. He had one season where he started a decent amount of games and it was for the worst team in the league.

He might have done better here if we ran a functional offense last season, but we had far too many ball stoppers to create fluidity.

I liked him prior to his run here because I felt he'd be a great backup to both Rubio and CP3. He's not as good as either but could maintain the systems they ran. Problem is he thought he could be at their level if made a starter and he's failed in multiple places since.

If this was before the new Apron rules it would have happened already. Now teams are paranoid about giving up a ton of assets and skyrocketing their payrolls.
