An 8 PM interview on a Saturday night after hanging with the Raiders all day? Yeah, not getting my hopes up LOL
Do we know that he spent "all day" with them? I haven't read it anywhere. And yes, as ROC points out, the Cards met him at dinner time.

Kubiak reportedly interviewed with both the Raiders and the Cardinals on Saturday. It was his second time interviewing with both teams.

If Kubiak is the first choice of both teams, which he appears to be, he’s in a great position to negotiate for a great contract. He can’t officially take a head-coaching job until after Super Bowl LX, but he can agree to terms with either the Raiders or the Cardinals at any time.

The expectation is that Kubiak will notify the teams today (Sunday). He can't sign a contract until after the Super Bowl but I believe his agent can work out the contract. The losing team must likely will sign a HC this week that was in their backup plan. Hopefully the Cards can still get LaFleur.

I hope we get a lafleur announcement today!!!
Me too. He is the one I want the most. I think it is a bit embarrassing with Kubiak since it seems like a foregone conclusion that he will go with the Raiders, and in that regard, I would just like if the Cardinals finally made a statement by getting him, but in reality, I think LaFleur will be the most succesful head coach longterm. Not that I would be mad about signing Kubiak, though.

Im curious why you think that? LaFleur is working with better personnel and doesn’t call plays.

Biddy will be scraping the bottom of the HC barrel as the last team to announce a new HC. The move to Vegas for the Raiders is more exciting than the "tradition" of Cardinals football under the Biddies. A bit depressing but not unexpected.

I don't think Mike Lafleur is the bottom of the barrel. That would be VJ.

I think that Kubiak will pick the Raiders because owner Mark Davis will give him an offer he can't refuse. I'm not trying to be critical of Bidwill on this either. Mark Davis is a nut and will break the bank to get Kubiak. Remember he signed Jon Gruden for a 10 year $100 million contract in 2018. Davis has no other options at this point and hopefully the Cardinals do in LaFleur. Just my simple opinion.
You're probably correct, but don't think it will be money that decides. More likely, Mendoza and CAP money available for FA signings. Tom Brady might or might not be a plus for the Raiders, as a HC might not want him interfering. JMO.
