my fear is that Clint's order of preference is:

1. Raiders
2. Go back to Seattle for another year
3. Cardinals, assuming Raiders vibe is bad and Mt Ranier erupts, burying Seattle in lava

thus leaving the Cards to crawl back to.... Raheem Morris or somebody

who gets to do their intro press conference where he might as well wear a name tag that says "2nd Choice!"

About all this taking so long, it puts us closer to opening day. yippee The Cardinals will still be the Cardinals.

Those of you wanting to join the Mountain West, remember, the Lobos broke five hundred last year. It's a tougher division now!

It hasn't been, but I'm curious to see how that's perceived after the new practice facility is built.
The new facility will be nice loooking on the outside with the same moron sitting at the head of the table calling the shots.

Bidwill, M. is clueless to where the real problems lay.

Arizona deserves so much better than the Bidwillians.

I don't get this take.

They haven't interviewed everyone they want to so why just hire someone?

Hiring someone without meeting with everyone you want is poverty franchise behavior.

If LeFleur can't wait then it shows he doesn't believe in himself.

Why? Nobody has any idea what Klint might like.

Raiders are more a dumpster fire than Arizona that just fired a hall of fame head coach after a year.

Even if we get him they still bungled the optics. You want to put full confidence behind the hire. Midwill has to read the room regarding Kubiak.

The process looks amateurish, but if it's LaFleur in the end and he's ultimately successful, then it wont matter.

Remember when UofA was trying to hire a coach and it ended up being Tommy Lloyd in the end? That process was pretty disorganized, too, but it was obviously worth it

We said the same about the JG draft pick debacle as well.

It always matters and shows the incompetence of Bidwill, M..

I would love the name “Midwill” but that is giving him too much credit and isn’t offensive enough.

With fans like you there is never a need for Bidwill, M. to do anything except what he has been doing.

Raiders have potential with fresh QB and some talent. Ownership is a wash.

Pete shouldn't have come back. He's toast. Raiders made a mistake. Hawks knew it and let him walk and now they are back in the SB.

Patriots are also back in the SB a few years after firing their hall of fa....errr regular coach.

Raiders are infinitely more attractive, but true no one knows his mindset.

We should know on Sunday or Monday what they will do. I guess Kubiak will either tell them directly, or they will get a good sense.

I just pray that LaFleur wants the job. Having the chance to hire him, Kubiak or Weaver was a dream scenario when this process started.

Thinking out load. Talking of mindset there are people out there, usually very successful people, who rate their abilities so much they want to create a legacy and become an icon.

The raiders have a rich history of coaching icons… cardinals not so much. Now Kubiak may be of the thinking that he could become an absolute icon for the cardinals where no one has ever had continued success. The shittier the starting point the more kudos an fun it can be turning it around.

As I said just a thought.
