"The facts tell him nothing, even if I shower him with information, with authentic proof, with documents and pictures, he will refuse to believe it...Entertainment becomes hypnotism. Criminals become "leaders." Lies become truth."

It is kind of funny how delusional he is and how quickly he'll pivot to a new point after the fact but never call out anything before hand. It's all so predictable.
reality check: Part 3
WHY IT MATTERS
if you joined a 30 team fantasy league with a $400 admission and $12,000 prize for the title winner
correct. but petty and besides the point. i could have said MY fantasy league, which works any way i want for the illustration"In one line expose yourself to never having played fantasy sports!"
indeed...the grand irony, is that, tonight, Durant-ball beat Booker-ball! Durant took all the heat last season but at least he was more capable, as he's been his whole career.
"To be kicked out of a place, and I felt like I'd been scapegoated for the issues we had as a team last year, yeah, it felt good to beat them and hit a game-winning shot,” said Durant in a video shared by Chron's Michael Shapiro.
"Devin Booker ranks #26
in All-Time Field Goal Attempts per 36 Minutes!"
Part 4: CONCLUSION:
GETTING IT RIGHT. WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU AS A SUN'S FAN?
YOU and I own the Suns. We pay the player's salary. But you allow a middle-man to run the team and exploit the true owners for his own benefit.
The nba players have a player's union to protect them against owner greed. Imagine if you had that protection.
1. Players would make a few million and be delighted to get the fame and adoration playing the game they love and still be able to live like a millionaire.
2. Tickets, jersey's, etc.. would be fairly priced so everyone working for the Suns is paid a living wage.
3. Profits above expenses would go back to the community (instead of a player photo op next to one basketball court they build for the needy, local kids could get the healthcare every other developed nation provides for their kids, etc.)
4. Instead of you scrambling from one service subscription to another to watch a sports game, they would be broadcast from one station with limited commercial interruptions.
5. Manager's and even player's could be publicly voted on periodically, like the all-star game, but with the same technology that protects banking online.
it is ALL extremely doable. You just need to be able to resist the smoke-screeners and suppressors they corrupt with their distractions and static. Right now, together, WE have THE POWER OF THE PURSE, even if they manipulate the vote.
i'm not the enemy here. i'm on your side. and we're all on the same team -- currently being run in basketball, as in society, by people who's long term interests are in direct conflict with our own.
this, my friends, has been a public service announcement. which you likely already knew, but hesitate to admit due to peer pressure to "fit in."
it starts with critical thinking. in all things
go suns/us!
facts matter. The fact is, in 7 years i have never shared that stat in any format. Here's another never shared before or shown on Suns TV or radio or in the Booker Appreciation thread:OMG dude, do you really think that there's anyone who doesn't understand your point by now? This is at least the 100th time you've said the same thing. The people who don't agree with you aren't going to suddenly start agreeing with you because you changed your formatting.
"Devin Booker is currently 6th among all active NBA players in shot frequency"
Because fans like you dismiss the fact-based criticism as mere "opinion" and the cherry pickers keep "formatting" an illusion that, in reality, prevents us all from enjoying more competitive seasons that don't end in collapse.
true. but we ALL keep expressing our opinions and not changing. Without that redundancy, this site would be obsolete. At least, i'm introducing facts.Actually I did not weigh in on Booker one way or another. I just think it's fair to say that people have their minds made up by this point.
true. but we ALL keep expressing our opinions and not changing. Without that redundancy, this site would be obsolete. At least, i'm introducing facts.
i never heard anyone "OMG" the Booker hype, propaganda, and cherry picking we must endure every frigging game, on TV, radio, and this forum.
now, even statistical facts are dismissed as "alien" conspiracies
OMG!
i know there are fans here, maybe even yourself, who understand the facts and recognize the illusion. Yet we all invest over 300 hours watching this team play, and only a few acknowledge that reality behind the marketing.
so many, so eager to serve as the foot-soldiers of the profiteer's marketing machine, despite the fact that the Suns investing so heavily in one significantly flawed player is against the best interest of the fans and community.
now, you're talkingSuns are 9-1 this season when Devin Booker records 8+ assists.
yup. just like the stats BOP and Hoop quoted:
when Booker has 8+ assists we usually win.
when he scores big, we usually lose.
indeed, my friend, it's not about 2 points. the truth is an interesting thing. it always comes back. the results and ALL OF THE STATS point to the same conclusion (and have for a decade). It speaks to the fundamentals of basketball and LIFE, not the guy who wears #1.
he who takes the most shots scores the most points,
but team success in basketball, as in life,
is not hoarding the wealth (salary cap),
sharing the rock,
playing offense AND defense
AND optimizing shot selection.
this thread is not about criticizing one player
it's about critical thinking
Booker's shooting percentage is lower than the average NBA team (which means the avg team would score more without him).
Booker is
ranked 43 in Offensive Plus/Minus
ranked 138 in Defensive Plus/Minus
ranked 39 in Efficiency Rating
ranked 53 in Turnover %
ranked 102 in Field Goal %
ranked 126 in Effective Field Goal %
ranked 163 in 3pt %
yet only 11 players have the ball in their hands more than him!
he's ranked 12 in Usage (Booker-Ball)
and, no, his defense rating hasn't improved
his career average is 115.5
now it's 117.4
the only thing he even cracked the top 20 in is Assist %
rated 20
oh, except salary. He's among the top 10 paid basketball players in history

you sir. are not debate worthy. and no one wants repetition here.
Excellent to hear that we all own the suns. I will call my financial advisor and let him know. Any idea what percentage we will receive when the suns are sold?Part 4: CONCLUSION:

oh taz, you really don't know do you? you absolutely own the Suns and every other business. You pay every salary. You decide whether a business succeeds or fails. Same goes for the politicians who are public servants we pay to serve us. We are brainwashed to accept that we are powerless.Excellent to hear that we all own the suns. I will call my financial advisor and let him know. Any idea what percentage we will receive when the suns are sold?
