I hear you, there’s only one stat that matters, and that’s W’s. I get people are ready to move on from Kyler. Still crazy if Zay Jones doesn’t drop a first down pass, and if Emari Demercado holds the ball before crossing the goal line, Kyler is 4-0 before getting injured.

There’s a real scenario we end up in QB hell while he goes on to succeed, especially if given a competent HC.

Did you read the board today? Pretty sure almost everyone is over Jacoby at this point.
Boy I could just hear the apologist if Kyler was playing under the same conditions and situation.
Boo hoo,our line stinks..
Boo hoo, we don’t have any running backs.
Boo hoo, you can’t win with the defense giving up 40 points.
Boo hoo, our wr’s stink….although we did find out we have Wilson and McBride

Man… can we stop the Kyler v. Brisset stuff. Neither are the answer and neither of their most ardent fans/stans/haters have any objectivity worth talking about.

And everybody on this board kisses his behind

He has botched 5 fourth quarter drives that could have won the freaking game

Indy, GB, Jax, Atlanta, Tampa Bay

Pardon me while I withhold my bouquet

I miss a lot of stuff on this board, but i certainly have not caught a glimpse of posters slobbering over Brisket. It's been nice to see the ball thrown downfield more often but I cannot imagine anything thinks he's "the guy".

Although, at a family Christmas thing tonight I had some fantastic brisket my cousin smoked... primo stuff...

Where was I?

Oh yeah, not wild about potato salad.

No I’ve just heard for the last 10 weeks he is such a great guy and improvement at the position

He’s a backup QB who chokes a bunch in the clutch
He's a great guy, sure. He's better than Kyler in this offense, unquestionably. And that's about all people have been saying of him. He is a career backup for a reason. Kyler stans try to paint a different picture about the board's posture on the topic, but, as per usual, it is for stanning purposes. I mean, they literally crow that the backup QB only has 1 win when their chosen one godsent "generational talent" high school phenom golden boy got 2. The conversation has been truly pathetic for them. Grasping at straws.

Under Murray, it seemed his close losses were because the defense gave up a late lead. The offense looked super sluggish, though. It's the total opposite with Jacoby running the show.

2-3 vs 1-9. Both suck, but one does suck less. lol

We stall in the redzone just like we did with K1 guess what that means.

This franchise can't get out of their own way.

Maybe 5-0.

He drove the Cards down to two passing TDs in the 4th Q to tie the game against the Hags, and then the 'D' blew it, again.

But, hey, we are told that the offence is finally working as it should.

No more running to pass, as it was with Kyler, even when our RBs could barely reach the line of scrimmage, it's now pass to pass.

Gannon made his call; Petzing over Kyler.

Brilliant!

Now we enter, perhaps, our Cleveland South phase of Cards history, where we search and search for the QBOFT.

One thing seems certain: There is no Carson Palmer or Kurt Warner to bail the franchise out.

I don’t understand how you think anybody was slobbering over JB. About 95% of this site have shared their belief that Brissett ran this offense better than Murray.
I never read anybody talk about signing him to an extension or claiming he was the answer at Qb.
This team has been hamstrung by a terrible contract extension to Murray which has put us in this position.
*Bring Murray back…
*Draft a rookie and sit him with *Brissett starting until the rookie is ready…
*Draft a rookie and start him…
*Bring in another journeyman Qb like who? Pickett?
The saddest part of all this is the future looks so bleak.
